@xconchris but 90% of fouls are not intentional and can’t be prevented. People will completely stop throwing inside low kicks and timing knees on opponents who are getting up. Harsher punishments lead to more tentative fights. Hands being open is a part of measuring range and parrying shots. Sometimes people close the distance and go into your finger. Improved gloves will lessen the problem but not get rid of it. The sport would be absolutely ruined if everyone started doing a Sterling expecting harsher punishments

Fight 4: 1st Round Finish

Does this mean that Meerchart vs Muradov will end by decision then the next one will be a 1st round finish?

@Spud. Fighters will be more cautious and more tentative. yeah..but there will be less pokes. And yeah they can be prevented by swift punishment. Fighters will control their weapons if they know they will lose a round.
