I do not like any British fringe contenders chances against ANY Mexican nowadays!!!! Molina is a former World Champion who had some losses but is on an 8 fight win streak against a mixture of **** and good guys. Eggingtons willingness to get in a slugfest every time he fights makes me feel like another Mexican is going to upset. Though Molina doesn't have a tonne of KO's he can still crack

Wasn't Carlos Molina one of the fighters that was meant to fight in that old school 15 rounder in Mexico that I presume got cancelled as it doesn't show up on his record? I'm sure I remembered writing about him and that fight but I could be mistaken.

Yes mate, you remember correct.
Though that 15 rounder never happened (well, it did. Only it was a 10 rounder!)  Molina has been very active during the lockdown! 6 fights since June!  Not 6 rounders either, 6 10 round fights, faced a couple of decent guys too. 
I honestly think Molina will cause Eggington some issues

That's certainly an impressive work rate but if I paid to see a 15 rounder and found out it was only a 10 rounder, I'd want at least a 3rd of my money back!

I get that Dmitrij Kalinovskij is a blown up Cruiserweight for this fight but he doesn't even look like a Cruiserweight in his picture.

The Lithuanian Dmitrij Kalinovskij made his Pro Boxing debut in February 2010 and between his debut and the Summer of 2012 he mainly competed as a Light Middleweight, sometimes making Welterweight and other times making Middleweight... Not bad Weight control for a lad at 6ft 5"...From 2014 Kalinovskij moved through Super Middleweight onto Light Heavyweight activity and in 2015 - present, he then decided to fight at the correct weight division for his frame, as a fully fledged Cruiserweight, with the occasional attempt at fighting a novice/young prospect from the Heavyweight Division... The image of Kalinovskij is probably an early photo from when he first started his Professional Boxing Career... Adeleye stopped Kalinovskij in his Pro Debut towards the conclusion of the 1st Round back in 2019...He has lost on Points to a number of notable British Cruiserweight Fighters over the last few years, namely Nathan Thorley, Simon Vallily, Shakan Pitters in Cruiserweight action twice, Luke Watkins... Sam Hyde from the Manchester Area stopped him by TKO in 5 (scheduled 6 Rounder)... I will take Scott Welch in 2...Wouldn't be surprised if it went 3 after watching Welch's half decent debut against Matt Gordon... Experience is predicting 2 Rounds... 🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍

Looking forward to seeing if Kaisee Benjamin can handle Scottish hardman Martin Harkin in a similar way to how promising British Welterweight, Portsmouth's Michael McKinson took care of him in an Headline MTK Show in October of 2020, which resulted in McKinson taking Harkin's 0...Harkin was dropped on multiple occasions on the night due to McKinson's speed of hand and unorthodox Southpaw style causing Harkin flash Knockdowns, but Harkin is tough, durable and carries some decent power, so I expect this contest to be a decent fight... Predicting Benjamin to come through a tough contest, but there may well be some dangerous moments for him to deal with.... Good to see Shakan Pitters making his comeback from his first Professional loss to Craig Richards back in December 2020, which was unfortunately for Pitters s loss by KO... Pitters as size, reach, skills and I expect his Boxing talent to lead him to victory against Jermaine Springer this evening in what appears to be a good, solid return contest for him... 🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍

Interesting to read... Sam Eggington's opponent this evening, Carlos Molina is making sure he his being well paid for his efforts in his Headline bout this evening, as late last year, he set up his own Boxing Promotional company, named King Carlos Promotions and he his Co-Promoting the Event this evening alongside Mick Hennessy and Hennessy Sports and Entertainment... Good thinking Carlos....Especially when fighting in Britain, in case it is a closely fought contest that goes to the judges scorecards, make sure you are being paid well either way... 🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍

Sam Eggington may well have the right opponent in front of him this evening that will cause him problems and prove a test, but will ultimately fall into Sam's tactics and I personally expect a few short sharp firefights throughout the contest, with Sam stalking his prey and Molina Boxing with clever counters off the back foot, circling the squared circle... If Eggington can tire out Molina effectively and land some of them heavy body hooks he utilises, then I think there is a chance that Sam can be the first Boxer to legitimately Stop Molina before the final bell, but I do expect that the fight will go long, if Not very long.... An excellent Headline Contest for a Channel 5 Free to Watch Fight Night in the UK, with some excellent Undercard Fights showcasing some of the more promising British and Irish prospects currently starting out in the Sport... Looking forward to a great Fight card... Lewis Van Poetsche take a bow Sir!! The epitomy of a good old fashioned Journeyman to test the skills and the will of the young prospects coming through in the Sport... This evening Lewis is making his 136th Professional Boxing appearance, which isn't bad going for an 8.5 Year Professional Boxing Career and especially when with a record of 9 Wins, 124 Losses, 2 Draws, you notice that Lewis has only been Stopped on 10 occasions... His opponent this evening, previous Love Island contestant, Idris Virgo tried to achieve a Stoppage of Lewis in his 5th Professional Fight in September 2019, but had to settle for a 39 - 37, 4 Round Points Victory... This evening we get to see how Virgo has improved over the last 2 Years and see if he his capable of producing a finish of Lewis second time around... 🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍
