Gloria de Paula, TKO, R3
Closest fight on this card. De Paula grinds it out to late round 3 KO.

Stolze vs. Gooden
Niklas Stolze, SUB, R2
Must win for Gooden. Don't see him pulling it off though.

Chavez vs. Kamaka III
Kai Kamaka III, DEC
Must win for Kamaka

Benoit vs. Adashev
Ryan Benoit, TKO, R2
Loser makes the cut list. Both coming off back-to-back losses and know they need to prove themselves.

Hall vs. Strickland
Sean Strickland, TKO, R3
Hall has a tendency to fall off on his activity offensively, and he lets himself get backed up. To paraphrase Adesanya, "he breaks mentally." You just can't do that against a guy like Strickland who keeps coming forward and has some pretty good boxing. Hall's leg kicks might slow down Strickland at first, but I think Strickland slowly breaks Hall down and gets the TKO win.

Barberena vs. Witt
Bryan Barberena, TKO, R1
Beatdown!

Gruetzemacher vs. García
Rafa García, SUB, R2
Rear Naked

Chavez vs. Kamaka III
Danny Chavez, DEC
Love watching Chavez fight. Leg kicks incoming!

Cosce vs. Rowe
Orion Cosce, TKO, R1
Cosce seems to win in the 1st or 3rd round lol, so coin flip. I chose 1st cause Rowe missed weight... maybe a tough weight cut? Will the second Cosce brother lose his 0, or will he take this win?

Yeah I’ve scaled back a lot of my Barberena parlays. He should do it, Witt has the worst chin ever, but I wanna see Barberena defend a takedown coming off all these injuries.

I watched footage on some of Strickland's most recent fights, I believe he is very overrated.  The guy just plods forward and throws little jabs here and there.  There is nothing spectacular about his style at all.

Obviously, that style was good enough to beat fighters who aren't elite strikers in the lower ranks but against Uriah Hall, he is going to be pieced apart and knocked out eventually.

The last 4 guys that Strickland beat aren't known for their punching power.  The last true knockout artist that Strickland fought was Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Strickland got knocked out in the first round by that guy so I'm sticking with Uriah Hall via knockout for the main event.

I will be very shocked if Sean Strickland knocks out Uriah Hall.  It would be similar to the Derek Brunson fight where Hall had a horrible gameplan that fell right into his opponents hands.

Since Uriah Hall has trained with strickland before....

Predictions: 2 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 115 Points   |   Tied for 2453rd

I am going with Uriah Hall on this one because he knows his style.  Hall will be forced to be more active and not just plod along for perfect setups.
Strickland reminds me of a tough Chris Leben of 2021 - who stays in your face with pressure until you break.
That pressure confuses a lot of opponents because they are back pedaling but I expect a highlight reel kick from Uriah Hall to KO  Strickland  to the Shadow world .

I watch tape and study statistics to make predictions and bets, what does that have to do with knowing if a guy is going to have a bad weight cut? You got some serious mental issues dude. Keep letting me live rent free in your head

Kang vs. Yahya
Kyung Ho Kang, DEC
This one is close, not too confident in this pick but I'm going with Kang because I feel like he can stick on the outside with his long reach and also keep the fight standing. He is a solid grappler himself so I do expect the TDD to be there, if he does get taken down then he might be subbed. He is a better striker than Yahya so I do expect him to pick him apart on the feet but it is close

I lost a great opportunity to make money with Jones.I can't bet on him for a whole month, since his rivals don't want to fight him.

I agree about Strickland, I like him, he's a dog, but he does plod forward with his hands chest high and treats every fight like a sparring session. He's extremely willing to take one to give one. You can do that against Jack Marshman, but guy with low hands plodding forward is basically describing Uriah Hall's ideal opponent.

Don't you think it would be easier to just not agree to fight him and go through a whole camp if he's afraid to fight him? Besides you act like I was ranting and raving Ronnie was a lock, I simply laid out my case for why I think he wins, and mentioned that its totally possible he gets caught and KOed by Jones. Okay? You don't have to get so offended a stranger on the internet predicted the future differently than you.

Chris Leben had 1 punch KO power, Strickland does not have that.

They are both plodders but give me the plodder with 1 punch ko power over the volume punching plodder

Hall vs. Strickland
Sean Strickland, DEC
Going with Sean, he's looked looked so good in his last 4 and stylistically I think Hall is a very good matchup for him. Hall is still dangerous, he only needs one shot to completely change the fight and get the finish, once he gets his timing he can really hurt you. But Strickland is defensively solid and when he comes forward he knows how to pick his shots as well, his shots are also powerful, they may not look it but they do some damage and Hall doesn't want to be eating too many 1-2s otherwise the fight could be stopped. I think if Sean wins it'll be pretty comfortably, I don't see him facing too much resistance from Hall, Hall will be losing until he isn't, similar to Derrick Lewis in a sense. If he can land a big shot, he can get it done, but I think Strickland takes it

Yeah the smart move would probably be to wait til next week where there's some decent spots. Miles Johns, Fiziev, I like Gane, Munoz, Menifield. But after last weeks robberies, I feel like I got my **** took and I'm not thinking straight!

I need a Tieoken check in. How good is James Krause with these guys? Good enough to lead Jason Witt to a win? Each guy has the other's kryptonite. And Krause has to know it.
