I cashed in big on an 8 team parlay yesterday too. And then i proceeded to blow most of my winnings on live betting in tennis.
I love this time of the year for betting in champions league and europa league qualifiers. Always so much potential for profit

Dude, I started lurking a betting subreddit when I first started getting my feet wet in non-MMA betting. The degeneracy there, guys betting on swedish soccer and ****.

Their MLB threads are both a joy and depressing. I'll stick to high/lows, thank you.

I only occasionally bet on the football nowadays as I never seem to win on them so not betting on them seemed the smarter thing to do. Having said that, I've started buying lottery tickets so...

@CountryMac the last couple weeks I’ve also had some nice hits with Champions League and Europa League qualifiers, Midtjylland-Celtic draw and Hibernians win, Red Star-Young Boys-Sparta Praha parlay, Zahavi to score 2+ goals against Galatasaray in the first game. Olympiakos and Ferencvaros to win. And a couple more

@Thesnake101 as someone from Europe it’s not that crazy, I think most people who kind of follow football here know about the top teams in even smaller leagues like the Swedish, Norwegian or Serbian top flights. Especially when you count in contacts you might share information with about sports in those countries.

I bet on Russian ping pong a few weeks ago. Did NOT understand how scoring works, yet still bet the live spread like I knew what I was doing. Didn't even realize the match was over and I'd lost for an hour.

I need to make a rule for myself: MMA, NBA, NFL. Thats it. Although I did just win a bet that Super Mario would NOT be in the opening ceremony at the Olympics. Imagine how scared I got when I saw that video game music would be the soundtrack.

I included a baseball game last night in a Rafa/Barberena parlay, just to juice it up a little. Bottom of the 9th, two outs, I'm just betting that the current spread is going to be the final. Second to last play of the game, a grounder pops out of the baseman's glove and a run scores. I couldnt believe it.

It took 30 seconds from clicking Wager to gone. Like I'd set it on fire.

Apparently at the height of the pandemic when almost all sports were on hold, that Russian ping pong league became the #1 betting option for Bovada. Bunch of sick freaks with nothing to bet on.

My country is a soccer dominated one. Its our national sport. Mma betting is still very limited tho a shame unfortunately. Nba soccer are my bread and butter. Tennis is my downfall. Its a symbiotic relationship. Its a *****

The Europa League group stages and knockout phase is usually gold aswell. Next week will be good again with all the qualifiers going on, I just won’t bet on my own team unless its about goals scored

Super late for the transperson talk. I just got off work. I often post from my desk, but people get busy.

I think it's apparent that, even if you think you're justified in your position, it's a good thing to throttle back the rhetoric a bit. I was at an NPO meeting the other night where two history nerds tore into each other for two hours over whether or not a project of ours should be part of a larger city celebration.

Taking principled stands is one thing, but if it means burning out your group, sometimes it's better to be a little less Che Guevara/Matt Goetz and a little more Joe Biden/George Bush.

If it's any reassurance, I've picked Nicco Montano as well.
