They probably saw 67 L’s and assumed he was one of those with almost as many KO losses. Gotta look at the full record (and in between the lines).

Fury vs. Bishop
Tommy Fury, DEC
I know Tommy Fury is starting to make a name for himself and he should win this very easily but there's no way he's gonna KO Andy Bishop who is fast becoming one of my favourite British journeymen!

Zesty New Predictions

Predictions: 2 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   106th Place

Fury vs. Grant
I elect Tommy Fury at -1750. He has a brash quivering palm death touch and an egregious right hand. Fury will likely outsmart the feat. Bank on it!

Dubois vs. Dinu
I embrace Daniel Dubois at -4000. He has a jingoistic harai goshi and a wacky touch of death and also a homemade spinning back elbow. Dubois is gonna neutralize the Octagon.

Daniel Dubois to KO Bogdan Dinu inside 6 Rounds (Gut feeling is that Daniel will attempt to control the centre of the Ring, take his time and try and get some much needed Ring time, so that he can work on the skills and shots that he has been practicing with his New Boxing Trainer, Shane McGuigan, before eventually going through the gears from Round 4, getting a Stoppage Victory somewhere between Rounds 5 - 7...It all depends on 3 things... How much effort has Bogdan put in to his training camp, one which Jarrell (likes his gear + Cheeseburgers) Miller has been a part of for a few weeks... How matchfit is Bogdan. The tactics of Bogdan, will he elect to fight to his strengths and box and move behind an accurate Jab with a straight 1 - 2 often being utilised in a European upright sort of style... Or will he allow for Daniel to pull him into a firefight in various stages and take too many shots to the body, slowing down his feet and ultimately making him too much of a stationery target... Finally, how durable is Bogdan to a big shot... I see a backhand straight, or a left hook being the Shot that takes Bogdan out in the end... Looking forward to watching DDD's return to action... Time to lose some ring rust and get back to what he likes doing best KOing victims...

Also on the Card, I foresee the following fighters winning on Points verdicts:-
George Bance and Adan Mohamed

I therefore see the following fighters winning via Stoppage victories:-
Liam Davies in 3-4 Rounds

Tommy Fury in 2 possibly 3 Rounds

Daniel Buciuc in 5-6 Rounds, as Naheem Ali is mainly a 4 Round fighter, gets dropped from time to time, Buciuc can definitely punch and although Naheem has never been stopped as a Professional Boxing journeyman in a 70 Fight thus far career, there is always a chance and a first time, especially when goalposts are slightly moved, like the length of the bout... 🤔🧐🤑💯🥊👊👍

Nathan Heaney in 5 - 6 Rounds... Heaney is a confident Unbeaten Middleweight, whereas his Bulgarian opponent Markov has fought at lower weights throughout his career and has been stopped on multiple occasions previously...

Ultimately, this Boxing Fight card is all about Daniel Dubois' return to competive action, following his enforced and lengthy layoff 🤔🧐🤑💯🥊👊👍

Easy work, especially after recently preparing Billy Joe Saunders as a chief sparring partner, before BJS recently challenged Saul Canelo Alvarez... It could well be a painful night for Olvera, as Agyarko can certainly pack a punch 🤔🧐🤑💯🥊👊👍

Mikey1903, nice attempt to hustle fellow Tapology Members with your prefight predictions involving the Fights concerning Tommy Fury Vs Scottish Hardnut Jordan Grant, along with the Headline Act, Daniel Dubois Vs Bogdan Dinu... I see your game... 😂😂... My bet is that the fight between Dubois and Dinu doesn't see the 9th Round... As for Grant, good luck will be required for him to last the 4 Round distance, but I am hoping that he can at least put up a bit of a fight... Prepare Tommy for a next level of opponent domestically, as he continues his progression at such a young age... Looking forward to watching the skills of Caoimhim Agyarko this evening, as personally I think he his quite the talent 🧐🤔🤑💯🥊👊👍

Predictions: 4 of 4 Winners, 1 Perfect, 255 Points   |   93rd Place

On a slight Political note involving the Headline Act on the Fight card... This evening's Heavyweight Bout between Daniel Dubois Vs Bogdan Dinu, which is apparently for an Interim WBA Regular World Heavyweight Title Belt is another prime example of the absolute chaos, combined with greed that surrounds the World Boxing Association aka the WBA... A Governing body that had Christopher Lovejoy as 15th in their World Rankings in recent times, after he compiled a Pro Boxing Record of 19 - 0 with 19KO's fighting Heavyweight Cans and major perennial losers in Mexico for each of his bouts, in an attempt to try and get a payday eventually against a decent World Ranked Opponent... Well the Diamond Boy, Mahmood Charr just recently gave Lovejoy a Payday and a 2 Round Stoppage loss and that was on his return to the Ring after an absence of 3 1/2 Years, 2 Hip Surgeries and looking like a slow, plodding Heavyweight, he still dealt with Lovejoy with considerable ease...
Next up we have Bogdan Dinu... In November 2018 he was ultimately overwhelmed by Jarrell 'Large  Cheeseburger' Miller, who walked him down and finished him in the 4th Round... Then Bogdan moved on to face Kubrat Pulev, who he competed with early doors, before being Stopped in the 7th Round... He made his comeback in late 2019 and Stopped 6ft 3 number 3 South African and No. 209 out of 1107 active Heavyweight Boxers in the World currently Osborn Machimana in the 4th Round. Yes that's right, thee Osborn Machimana... Then last year, during the Pandemic, in October Bogdan followed this up by Stopping a 6ft 1 German, by the name of Frank Bluemle, who is ranked 47 out of 74 currently active German Heavyweight Fighters, who had lost at least 5 of his previous 7 contests, prior to fighting Bogdan and these were all by Knockout and usually early, definitely before 5 completed Rounds and Bluemle is currently ranked 523 out of 1107 in the World.. Bogdan stopped Bluemle with ease in the 2nd Round... What is Bogdan's reward for achieving this result late last year and after going 2 - 2 in his last 4 Pro Boxing Contests, losing fairly comfortably to World Level Heavyweight Fighters and then making a comeback by Stopping 2 over matched opponents, who were quite clearly Not on Bogdan's level of ability... The WBA Rank him in their Top 15 World Rated Fighters who are ultimately attempting to earn a Mandatory Title Shot against an Elite Level Operator, which is currently AJ Anthony Joshua, who is an Elite Level Boxer and a killer in the Ring and who is the current WBA Super Champion... But Not 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15, which consequently would be bad enough, Noooo, they reward Bogdan with a Number 2 slot in their Rankings, for losing to Jarrell Miller and Kubrat Pulev and then returning with Wins over Osborn Machimana and Frank Bluemle (I know you are thinking who are these people, in relation to the last 2 opponents)... So the Queensbury Matchmakers have worked wonders for Daniel Dubois's comeback fight and the WBA's ranking system is an absolute mess and a complete appetite for greed, which appears to have led to complacency, as Dinu isn't even a Top 50 World Heavyweight with the Boxrec Rankings, as he his currently sat in 58th position... He will be in 58th place or lower, when Daniel Dubois finishes him off this evening too, but at least Daniel will have moved himself into the No. 2 Spot with the WBA as a result of this... Which leaves me thinking... What about Joe Joyce?? He beat Daniel Dubois late last year by 10th Round Stoppage and yet his career route appears to be a Mandatory Defence of his European EBU Title against German Veteran and longtime Cruiserweight Marco Huck🤔💯🧐🤑🥊👊👍... Just Crazy!!

I just read my speech on the WBA crap once again... I have to admit it's quite the speech... I tell you what Mikey, if I get 50 👍 on the speech, I will email the details to the WBA on behalf of all the Tapology Members who are passionate about Boxing, the sport I love, that they are somewhat spoiling all in the name of greed, because it is all linked to financial gain, so that they can apply sanctioning fees for Non World Title Fights... Bogdan Dinu is Not a Top 15 World Heavyweight and his time in the Ring with Daniel Dubois this evening will prove it... Fly the Flag 🇬🇧though Daniel... Nearly time to add another KO victim to the list (hopefully) 🙏💯🤔🤑🧐🥊👊👍

Well done bud.

I'm not taking too much from that win for Dubois last night as Dinu didn't provide any type of resistance!  What a joke that the WBA had him ranked no.2!!! Haha, his manager must have cut a pretty big cheque!!! Anyway **** the WBA!!!
I get that was good for Dubois to get a win to rebuild the confidence
But Warren had to start putting better competition in front of him or I feel he's going to be back in the same position as the Joyce fight. I'd need to think about it to find the right opponents. I do worry that Ole' Fish Eyes will just have him crushing D level Heavyweights until he faces someone decent and he'll struggle again.

Hopefully not because I want to see him do well too

@Mikey1903

Here's a little shortlist of opponants that I feel would be challenging for him but has a chance of beating:

Zhilei Zhang - I'm still not 100% convinced as to how promising a prospect Zhang is so this would be a good marker to try and gauge his skill level.

Robert Helenius - The best boxer in this list IMO but he has proven to be a bit chinny if his opponant can find a way through.

Filip Hrgovic - Absolutely no clue who would win but I'd want to see it simply because I'd image it would be a wild fight that ends in a KO.

Hmmm
Firstly, Hrgovic would hurt Dubois BAD!!!!!!  Keep him far, far away from Dubois!!!  That's a fight that you leave til further down the line.  I am pretty confident Hrgovic is gonna win a title, he'll definitely contend for the title at some point.  But, yeah, it would be a mistake making that fight anytime soon.

I have never been impressed with Big Zhilei Zhang.  His record is extremely padded, he has about 2 rounds of cardio and his chin is very suspect.  Did you see his last fight vs Jerry Forrest?? It was on the Chocolatito Estrada undercard.  He dropped Forrest 3x within the 1st 3 or 4 rounds, gassed out and by the 7th or 8th was clinging on for dear life!  Vs Jerry Forrest!!!!  He managed to survive with a draw, a draw after 3 10-8's!!
He's an OK next opponent for Dubois I guess.  He's undefeated, has a little hype(tho I think thats gone after that fight).  Dubois would smoke Zhang pretty easy actually.

I like the Helenius fight the best, it's actually an easy and logical fight to make too.  Helenius is the WBA Gold Champion(Yes there's a WBA Gold belt!!)  Dubois won the WBA Interim title last night so they could fight to become no.1 contender for the WBA.  Helenius was meant to be rematching Adam Kownacki, who he upset by KO last March(in the last live event before lockdown!).  There's been issues with that rematch for some reason?  But I expect it to be included when PBC on Fox announce their Summer schedule in the coming weeks.  But Helenius is a great test for Dubois at the moment, he is tough wouldn't go away without a fight and his confidence is high coming off a big win.  Yeah, I like that fight!

What probably happens is Ole Frankie Fish Eyes flies over a random undefeated Ghanaian for the Commonwealth or the Eastern European equivalent .

I think Dubois should face some tough, crafty veterans.  Sergey Kuzmin,  Christian Hammer or Carlos Takam.  Then onto a classic British domestic dust up vs Dereck Chisora or Martin Bakole.  Finally he can face Dillian Whyte or a rematch with Joe Joyce depending on what they have done, I'd expect it to be Whyte after Whyte suffers a loss in a big fight vs either AJ, Fury or Wilder.

@Mikey1903

Thanks for the feedback! I liked the idea of the Filip Hrgovic fight and I do rate him highly but I have him on about the same level as Dubois at the moment or maybe the next level up.

As for Zhilei Zhang, that fight with Jerry Forrest is the only one of his fights I've seen and I had him losing that by a round or two despite the knockdowns so yeah, he was lucky to get a draw but I'd have thought he might be able to last at least past the halfway point with Dubois.

I'd heard of the WBA "Gold" belt but I didn't realise that Robert Helenius held it nor did I realise that the Dubois VS Dinu fight was for the WBA Interim title until he was announced as the winner at the end. Having said that, neither of those Titles mean anything as far as I'm concerned, it would be perfectly fine to have the Dubois VS Helenius fight with no belts or titles or participation trophies on the line. It's not the awards that make good fights, it's the boxers who make good fights but there's no way that the WBA would allow that fight to happen without getting something out of it.
