Close fight and I'm sure that Emmanuel Rodriguez will be determined not to make it 3 losses in a row (one was against Naoya Inoue so there's no shame in that even if he did get KO'd) so the motivation is there for him. It's just too tempting not to pick the underdog here.

Great to see Sharone "Smoke" Carter, the guy with Tapology's P4P best picture, return! I think this will actually be fairly close fight with Carter giving a decent account of himself but I think Jonas Sultan will be a bit too good for him here.

Man, I'm struggling to settle on a fighter here! I keep convincing myself that the other is gonna win!! Rigo is the classic Cuban boxer, 2x Olympic Gold medalist, slick as a muther f'er!! Can pivot on a dime and has underated power too, he's broken a couple jaws and eye sockets as proof of power! Casimero is the classic Filipino action fighter. Loves a tear up, has some real power! Casimero is the younger, faster fighter and he's in better form. Rigo is at least 40 (never know exactly with Cuban defectors!), he has lost a step and this shows in the way he has been forced to stand and trade more in recent fights, that could be his downfall here. You don't wanna stand in the pocket trading with Casimero. This along with Rigos age must be why bookies have him as an underdog. 4 or 5 years ago and Rigo is a -1500! I also think Rigo could put on a vintage performance, have Casimero chasing shadows all night before eventually walking him onto a powerful left hand! I was gonna settle on a Casimero KO after a toe to toe slygfest! But now I'm favouring Rigo by slippin, movin, catch and countering a frustrated Casimero late and getting a late stoppage

I embrace Juan Carlos Payano at -1500. He has a talented spinning back elbow and a hypersonic kouchi gari and also a zingy fight IQ. Payano can handle the dark horse.
Rodriguez vs. Russell
I prefer Gary Antonio Russell at -220. He has a casual reverse frankensteiner. Russell will likely nullify the victory.
Rigondeaux vs. Casimero
I am loyal to John Riel Casimero at -200. He has an original spinning back fist. Casimero is about to impair the dissentient.

Yeah I said it!!
Rigo won that fight!!! It was a ****** god awful watch, but he had Casimero swinging at air and landed the better shots(granted it was only 1 or 2 per round!!). Walking forward swinging and missing isn't effective aggression.
Actually, I don't give a ****!!! It was a truly dreadful show. Rigo has no one to blame but himself, he had opportunies to counter as Casimero was swinging, missing by a mile and completely out of position at least once a round. Leaving a fight like that to the judges is asking for a loss. Again,what a ****fight!
