Kinda crazy you have 1 twin trying to unify his division and the other is doing this! I think Mall has all the talent in the world but he really needs to be stepping up the competition. I thought that he would after the Derevyanchenko fight, he handled him much better than both GGG and Jacobs. But instead of facing another champion or even a top 10 guy he takes a HUGE step backwards vs a random Mexican! I'm being harsh on Montiel, I actually think he's a fun action fighter, but Charlo is talking about P4P. Joke World Title fight this is.!

No bud. I don't know what is going on exactly???? This fight was on this card a month ago, then it disappeared, then it appeared on the Rigo vs. Casimero card in August but it also reappered on this card!!!!
I know that these guys are boxing but not when they are boxing??? I'm pretty sure that it's going to be August. But I have left it on here for now because BoxRec have it listed.
We'll find out at the weigh ins who's actually fighting!!!!

Bloody hell, this is one tough opponant for Gabriel Maestre's 4th pro fight! If he does win then I can imagine there will be a lot of prospects in and around the Super Welterweight division ducking him!

Thanks for the info @Mikey1903! I saw he had some good wins in his first few fights but I didn't realise they were that good! I've changed the pick to Maestre by 4th round KO/TKO.

So yeah, he's got the pedigree. This is something that is becoming more common in boxing recently. Decorated Amateurs turning pro and jumping straight into big fights. Lomachenko started the trend by fighting for a World Title in his 2nd pro fight!!! The 2016 Uzbek Olympics squad are another example with MJ Akhmadaliev already WBA/IBF World Champ inside 8 fights, Israil Madrimov and Shakram Giyasov are calling for Title shots with less than 10 Pro fights. Also, Naoya Inoue, was a great amateur, he won World Title in fight 4.
So if you see a boxer with 3 fights facing a guy with 20 wins there's a high chance of them being a decorated amateur.
