Yeah, I'm a night owl and also a bit of an insomniac. Sleeping pills help but have become less effective over time so if I tried sleeping at 11pm, I still wouldn't fall asleep until about 1 or 2am anyway so I figured it's just best to go to bed when I naturally start feeling tired.

I still use them from time to time on bad nights but I try to fall asleep naturally if I can.
