No he said, "Never leave it in the hands of the judges".
"That is mentioning a KO or submission."
If a KO or submission happened there would have been no need to make that statement.

How is that not the best way to win?

Are you stating that Dillashaw wasn't looking for a finish?

This is only true until you understand what level you are up against. We should not shame fighters or argue with others about a fighter going for the finish. That's something we should always celebrate. We all would love to see someone go 40-0 with all finishes against top competition.

That's not necessarily a cop out quote and that's due to close fights, even robberies, in favor of the champ. There's a reason why that statement is universally known throughout combat sports as much as "to be the champ you need to beat the champ." I've always felt that the 10-9 system is not sufficient for MMA and allows people to stall in hopes of winning rounds, when in reality scoring the fight as a whole makes more sense. Of course, I'm not an official, nor have I tried to be, so what the **** do I know.

If you have truly debilitated your opponent then that should automatically make it easier to win rounds or get a finish. If the fighter continues to remain competitive in spite of the so called damage, if anything, that's more of a feather in his cap.

** they wanted to talk about junk food instead about other trash talk like what Conor McGregor has done... about families and religion etc.
So Yanez won ... I hope he gets a deal with Dr Pepper company to promote and be in some commercials. He gave them some free advertising revenue... Pay both guys for advertising your junk food.
