UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw

I thought Sandy won too but it was so ******* close… props to TJ… look @ how ******* bad I did, might need to take a few week Tapology hiatus after this one…

So damage isn’t the most important?

TJ Dillashaw didn't look as bad as I thought he might without his precious EPO + that crazy layoff. He looked strong early and he was able to wrestle a few times. I don't think wrestling Cory Sandhagen is much of a statement, quite honestly. But still, I'll give him props where he deserves it.

Cory Sandhagen is good. But my God the dude is overrated. He's slick at times, he's tricky with his size for a bantamweight. But holy **** is he ever very severely and obviously flawed out there. The tells when he's about to throw something crazy are so obvious and kinda defeats the purpose of throwing unorthodox attacks. Now, he is very good with the weird **** in the first five minutes or so. But as he starts to fade a little bit, he still fights like an idiot despite not being even remotely effective with it for the most part.

I can't stand these pro, high-level fighters who rely on the ******** tactics that Sandhagen relies on anytime he's in any sort of trouble. The man can't defend or throw a good leg kick to defend his life. Dillashaw kinda touched him up with leg kicks tonight. They didn't look like much, but he was doing damage. Cory was clearly bothered. Now instead of addressing it and fixing the issue mid-fight, what does Sandhagen do? Weird little taunting towards TJ to pretend he's unfazed by the kicks. Like, bro, he sees you. He knows they're working just fine. TJ Dillashaw - multiple times in the fight - was able to clinch Cory Sandhagen and frustrate him against the fence. What did Sandhagen do? Not only did he continue to throw sloppy, terrible spinning **** and flying **** - allowing TJ to continue clinching him - but whenever they locked up he was trying to signal to the ref that he should split them up. I ******* hate that ****. Do your job and fight out of the position. 

This fight exposed Sandhagen IMO. He is not a title threat. Are you kidding me?! Petr Yan melts that man. He's a fun fighter. Usually a must-watch fighter even. But the man has flaws that an "elite" fighter shouldn't have and tendencies he should try to fix. But he's content being impressively mediocre. So, cool.

TJ Dillashaw looked good. And I do think he won that fight and find it hilarious that Sandhagen looked upset by that decision. I don't like either fighter, but Sandhagen didn't deserve to win tonight. Neither are threatening for the title any time soon. That's all I take away from this fight.

I don’t think I want to watch this **** anymore.  They need to overhaul the judging requirements and appointment because they are terrible.  Ruining this sport week by week!

lol, its been a long time since I went 3-6. With good judges I'd be 5-4 at least...

All that matters to me is Elkins did what he does and won, I love that guy. I could get every pick wrong, and just get that right and I'd be happy. **** yeah Yanez and Elkins.

The biggest shocker for me and the parlay buster for me was Kyler Phillips losing.  That was my lock :(

We have pretty much just seen the sterling and sandhaegen fight goes exactly the same in a rematch

I think sandhagen won that but I got my pick and got some money so that’s fine with me 

sandman fumbled the bag SO HARD. ****** up knee + MASSIVE cut on eye and you can't capitalize on either?
