I think Barber's issues right now are more mental than anything. She's most dangerous when she's aggressive, and we saw that when she turned it up against Grasso in the last round, but before that last round she was hesitating too much and getting pieced up. Barber's wrestling isn't that impressive either, and we saw that against Modafferi. Maverick is going to be as good on the ground or better, so if Barber can let her hands go and stay off the fence, she's got a real shot. She's scary when she has that "I'm the future" confidence. Gillian Robertson learned that the hard way, and her grappling should have given Maycee more trouble than it did. Maycee has shown that she can cancel out her opponent's grappling when she overwhelms them with pressure and combinations. But if her head's not in the right place, it might be a grind fest for Maverick. I like Maycee, so I'm going with her, but I really have no idea which version of her is going to be in that cage tomorrow.

Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw
Sandhagen, DEC
Not easy to call so i'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt to the favorite.

Phillips vs. Paiva
Paiva, DEC
Very nice match up, excited about Paiva's debut on BW

Elkins vs. Minner
Elkins, DEC
Minner is the favorite here, but i think Elkins' durability will help him

Barber vs. Maverick
Maverick, DEC
To be honest i think Maycee Barber is not all that

Gall vs. Williams
Jordan Williams, TKO, R2
i have a feeling that Gall was only signed so CM Punk could win a fight

Soriano vs. Allen
Soriano, TKO, R2
Big shots here

Heinisch vs. Imavov
Imavov, DEC
Just feeling

Yanez vs. Costa
Randy Costa, TKO, R2
This is the people main event, picking Costa but no surprise if Yanez gets this W

Arce vs. Ewell
Andre Ewell, DEC
Jab jab jab

Eubanks vs. Reed
Sijara Eubanks, SUB, R1
Elise is a SW and Sijara is a big BW, i don't like that match up at all

Belbiţă vs. Goldy
Diana Belbiţă, DEC
Sorry but i don't care about that one

@magestratu, Better wrestling than Hawes? Wut?

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 503rd

@magestratu.... I like Ian Heinisch, but saying he has better wrestling than Phil Hawes is suspect to say the least. Hawes is a JuCo national champion and then went on to wrestle D-1 at Iowa State! Both in fact for Iowa schools... I think it is safe to speculate that Hawes is the better wrestler of the two.

Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw
T.J. Dillashaw, TKO, R4
Six of Sandhagen’s eight UFC fight have ended inside the distance and 10 of Dillashaw’s 16 UFC fights have done the same. I expect a fast-paced fight, love betting on the underdog. TJ by KO/TKO

I like how they are using the narrative that he is clean now, it's a new TJ Dillasnake. Nope, he still has a glass chin.

Weigh in thoughts

Predictions: 3 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 180 Points   |   Tied for 2658th

1. Unsure again about Belbita/Goldy. Goldy is absolutely jacked.

2. Elkins looked extremely uncomfortable to me. Not sure I have a better word to describe it.

3. Williams couldn't look Mickey Gall in the face there for a second.

4. Sandhagen absolutely didn't want to shake Dillashaw's hand but did anyway.

There's a solid case for Paiva to win. Personally, I think Phillips wins either a decision or gets a late finish.

Of note, Paiva has....

1. More experience
2. Last fight at 125 he beat a ranked opponent
3. His only 2 UFC losses are also to ranked flyweights; one was a split decision and another being a doctors stoppage.

Dude is definitely game. This isn't an easy fight for Phillips at all and another great measuring stick for him after beating Song Yadong.

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 1657th

Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw
Cory Sandhagen, TKO, R3
If TJ wrestles, this will probably drag out to a decision, and he'll probably win. But tbh, a 2 year layoff is a long time for a 35 year old, and now he's (maybe?) not on juice anymore. I think Sandhagen has a good chance to put him out

Elkins vs. Minner
Darrick Minner, DEC
Could be a club 'n sub for Minner if he manages to catch Elkins with a Guillotine off a panic wrestle attempt

Yanez vs. Costa
Adrian Yanez, TKO, R2
I'd be pretty surprised if this goes past the 2nd round. Yanez is a beast! Bit of a slow starter sometimes though, that's why I picked 2nd round KO instead of 1st round

Soriano vs. Allen
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R2
This fight's probably not going the distance

Now I’m not one of these trolls that comments “gyno” on every picture of every fighter. But I did have a passing thought like “wow TJ is blastin some nips” and then the top comment was Aljo who called him like Fish Nipples or something. Be honest, did anything catch your eye?
