It doesn't help that Conor was winning and winning big constantly and now he's inactive and losing and his last "big" win was against a shot Cerrone. The things he says now come across as false confidence or just BS.

I think you should try to get into touch with Conor to improve his quick whips back at fighters...

Also because some times he says stuff and his accent is so thick -- I dont know what he just said half the time.

I did too but I realize now I took them too seriously, so I’m just gonna troll Tabarnakk every time he shows up. I mean hey, think about it this way: I don’t have to flag him to get him banned and instead let him do it himself, and it gives him a sense of purpose in life. Two birds with one stone.

No it's definitely lame af. He used to be witty with it now it's just forced. Jollies wife is literally only something a 13 year old would think is a good insult. He might as well of followed it with "na na na boo boo stick your head in Doo Doo". Then he posts the DM request from Dustin's wife with the implication she was hitting on him when in reality she probably sent him a meme of him getting KOed. 3rd grade mentality Conor would 100% post the actual message if it was anything in his favor.

He's in panic mode and he's fallen off in all aspects. So much so that even his trash talk is hardly worth giving mention to at this point. Fact of the matter is, he's losing relevancy. Regardless of what the Dana's of the world think.

Yes he's popular right now. But MMA fans will hop off your bandwagon so ******* fast these days it's not even funny. It'll take more than 1 or 2 or even 3 losses for a guy like McGregor to get there - but he will get there. The facade is up. And when he loses to Dustin a 2nd time, I legit dunno how they promote him as a legit fighter and threat to his division -- but of course they will continue to do so.

It was genuinely funny when Pink Suit Dude asked McGregor that question at the press conference. Because yes it was a nice little dig at him, of course. But it was also a valid 'dig' at him. And the question itself is a legitimate question.

Why the **** should people believe this fight will be different. I've said it before in this very thread, I think. But again - the reason Poirier/McGregor II was compelling was because 6 years or whatever had passed and both guys had improved tremendously. It's been a few months since Dustin took Conor to school, man. A clearly declining Conor. So why the hell should anyone assume the same won't happen again?

This fight doesn't sell itself the way the 2nd fight did. Dana and Conor know that, and I think that's why Conor got as angry as he did.

My favorite part was how angry Dana White looked. Both at that part and the part where Poirier said the "Cuz he got KTFO --- not McGregor Fast, it's McGregor Sleep" thing. Because for years Conor has sat on that stage, borderline broken laws, personally attacked people, threatened to kill people, etc, and Dana White laughs it off everytime and does so while looking at Conor like he's the love of his life. But when people are attacking Conor? Yikes, that man Dana looks like an upset lover or some ****. It's pathetic.

Rant over. I hope the McGregor Experiment comes to a close very soon.

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R3
Look, I get it. Mean Conor is back. I just don't think 4-5 months is enough to make a gigantic change. I see Dustin pulling ahead when he gets past round 1. Hopefully finish the guy again and end the rivalry.

Aldana vs. Kunitskaya
Yana Kunitskaya, DEC
Given Aldana's botched weight cut and her striking accuracy, gotta lean to the fox.

Griffin vs. Condit
Max Griffin, DEC
Real easy for Max if he fights smart. If only.

Price vs. Pereira
Michel Pereira, DEC
Meh. I dunno. Enjoy the circus.

Du Plessis vs. Giles
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R3
I think people are sleeping on how smart Dricus is......

I agree with those picking Dustin Poirier in this thread.  When I was watching the press conference, I didn't feel that special aura from McGregor anymore.  It was like he was playing a satirical version of himself with lame jokes.  I believe this is the last time we will see McGregor fight ever again unless he fights Nick or Nate Diaz if he loses to Poirier.

Dustin Poirier is such a talented fighter, he really deserves to be champion at least once in his career.  He also has the best chance of dethroning Oliveira.  I don't want to see McGregor vs Oliveira because Oliveira will tap him out within 3 rounds if that fight ever happens.

Of course, I could be wrong and the McGregor show starts all over again but I doubt it.

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 485 Points   |   Tied for 2358th

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R3
If Dustin can stay awake through the first 1.5 rounds he should be set up to fight for the title, right? Conor winning fights at the highest level is a thing of the past. Also took a Poirier round 4 prop.

Burns vs. Thompson
Stephen Thompson, TKO, R3
Wonderboy takes advantage of the bigger octagon to wear out Burns through the first rounds. Needing a finish, GB walks his neck into Thompson’s instep.

Tuivasa vs. Hardy
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R2
**** Greg Hardy. This is where he gets a ‘level check’ from Bam Bam.

Aldana vs. Kunitskaya
Yana Kunitskaya, DEC
Good match up. Feel like if Kunitskaya can use lateral movement to counter and frustrate Aldana’s constant forward charge.

O'Malley vs. Moutinho
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R1
Not if, but when. I say Round 1.

Griffin vs. Condit
Carlos Condit, DEC

Price vs. Pereira
Michel Pereira, TKO, R2
Niko will engage and get put to sleep. Highlight reel-style.

Hall vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, DEC
Hedged a prop bet on the Hall Sub. Topuria should have enough BJJ to keep Hall off his ankles and beat him up standing.

Du Plessis vs. Giles
Dricus Du Plessis, SUB, R2
Giles has nice hands in the stand up. I’m betting he gasses and DuP chokes him.

Maia vs. Eye
Jessica Eye, DEC
I like Eye’s experience and the odds. Wouldn’t be shocked if Maia pieced her up, though.

Akhmedov vs. Tavares
Omari Akhmedov, DEC
This should be a good scrap. Found value in the wrestler at plus odds.

Zhumagulov vs. Rivera
Zhalgas Zhumagulov, TKO, R2
Rivera looks frail. Zhuma grapples to a g&p win after the longer Rivera has some success in the first. Possible live bet if odds level up for Z

Amedovski vs. Hu
Yaozong Hu, DEC
The drop in weight, size advantage helps Hu ‘****house’ his way to a win.

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R3
I'm just not seeing the outcome any different. Even if McGregor adjusts on his pre-seeded excuse of only doing boxing last camp being the reason he didn't perform like he should. Which I find ********. He'll probably win the first round, but he'll start fading halfway through R2 and then it's downhill from there. He'll start getting tagged and it will be a joyous occasion. Again. I probably enjoy seeing McGregor get smashed almost as bad as Covington.

Griffin vs. Condit
Max Griffin, DEC
I feel bad as ***kk. But stylistically, Griffin poses a few problems for Condit. Sorry dude.
