@ModestMan I don't believe in randomness and I don't believe in lucky blows. We get the result. If you look at Pettis now, he is a slacker, even a PFL loses to other slackers. If we revisit Kamaru Usman vs. Gilbert Burns becomes clear that Burns can knock out Thompson

Just to say, I'm not holding that fight in regard to what will happen against Burns. They are two different types of strikers, and you can't ever count Pettis out. That wasn't a fluke, even Wonderboy admitted his mistakes in a video of him commentating that knock out.

Using that logic I could say Wonderboy will KO Burns. Burns got KO'd by Usman, a wrestler who has maybe 3 KO/TKOs in his UFC career. Wonderboy was knocked out by Pettis who has always been a striker first. Getting KO'd by Usman (a jab no less) is not good, especially in your mid 30's. Burns' striking has looked good in his last 3 fights but they were all against grapplers. Wonderboy is top 3 all time MMA strikers IMO, I think he finishes Burns who got KO'd by a wrestler's jab.

I also favor Wonderboy's fight IQ here, I saw an interview where Gilbert said he wants to strike with Wonderboy. He has a clear grappling advantage but I don't trust him to go for takedowns.

I do think wonderboy wins, but usman striking has improved a lot in recent fights for him to ko burns, and it's easy to judge watching tv, but it's not like usman doesn't hit hard either

Bro, Don’t be a ******. You always say the dumbest **** and at this point I can’t tell if your a troll saying dumb **** to piss me off or just an idiot. Have you even watch more then 3 MMA fights as swinging with 4 ounce gloves can alway have flukes ending. But hey, that fight is fix because you alway say fights are not real. And Pettis is arguably the weakest puncher who Wonderboy fought. All I’m saying is look into it

Amedovski vs. Hu
Alen Amedovski, TKO, R1
Maybe Hu will suprise me with some kind of progress after 3 year layoff but from what I've seen, Amedovski is a much better striker and even grappler. Yaozong will be stronger so he maybe has some chance in the clinch, maybe he will take him down. But I think it's pretty easy for Alen even though he's not good at all.

Zhumagulov vs. Rivera
Zhalgas Zhumagulov, DEC
rivera will have an incredible size advantage here but i just don't like the way he leaves himself open, Zhumagulov actually has some nice solid counter striking and has a good ability at closing the distance well which is going to be key against Rivera who gives openings

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Conor McGregor, TKO, R1
Dustin is FOOKED!!! Haha, nah I think Conor is really up against it here. I stil think he has a chance of winning. Its the same as every Conor fight, he dominates and gets a spectacular finish inside 2 rounds or he gasses and gets finished. I think Poirier should be a bigger favourite but I still would not be surprised if McGregor gets an early stoppage.

Griffin vs. Condit
Carlos Condit, DEC
NBK all day!!!

Hall vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, TKO, R2
Topuria is going to absolutely beat Halls ass!!! Imanari rolls might work vs washed BJ Penn but not here.

Amedovski vs. Hu
Yaozong Hu, TKO, R1
I think 80% of you are WAY too confident in a guy who was slept in under 15 seconds by "The White Mike Tyson"!!!! Haha. Also I have absolutely no confidence in Yaozong Hu either. I just thought that the pick percentage would reflect the odds and be closer to 50/50

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Conor McGregor, TKO, R2
Conor will come to this fight with different approach, we all know that. He will probably do what he says, show his MMA arsenal. I expect countering style with some loose stance, hunting for a finishing combo.

Burns vs. Thompson
Gilbert Burns, DEC
Closing the distance and working with the BJJ.

Poirier vs. McGregor III
Dustin Poirier, TKO, R1
Poirier can take the left hand on his chin. He has shown multiple times. That’s the only way McGregor can win. Poirier wins this fight if it goes 5, he can win after being hurt, he has the grappling and submission advantage. In my opinion, Poirier breaks him by the end of the 1st.

Burns vs. Thompson
Stephen Thompson, DEC
Thompson’s takedown defense is underrated and I believe Burns won’t be able to take him down enough to win. Thompson uses his movement and length to keep Burns away and pick him apart as he comes in.

Wonderboy has 21 fights where he's barely ever been rocked. Including title fights and against huge punchers.

He ate one freak off the cage superman punch in a fight he was winning. It's ridiculous to hold onto that like we learned anything from it. Burns is mean and might hurt him, but I'm not looking to a fight two and a half years ago as evidence.

Tuivasa vs. Hardy
Tai Tuivasa, DEC
Hardy has not felt power like Tuivasa in the UFC. Tuivasa has shown the ability to take massive shots repeatedly. Hardy has been susceptible to leg kicks which are a strength for Tuivasa. Tuivasa will test Hardy’s heart and chin.
