Vanderford's Skillset in Wrestling is proving to be the big difference between the two after the 1st Round, but Fabian Edwards is definitely in the fight and certainly has some excellent striking skills on the feet... 🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍

Is Vanderford probably up 2-0? Yeah, but he's really not doing much at all. You could argue Fabian's work on the feet >> Vanderford's ground work. Wishful thinking because I'm well aware how MMA judges work, but meh.

Vanderford has dominated the contest with his superior Wrestling Skills... Styles make fights and Vanderford's style is a bad match up for Fabian Edwards to work with... Edwards is better in Striker Vs Striker contests, but in MMA you have to take on all comers... Great performance from Austin Vanderford 👏👏🤔💯🥊👊🤑👍

It's pretty disappointing to see Fabian's TDD hasn't improved at all. It's always been his biggest weakness, but I had assumed after the Van Steenis fight, and prepping for a guy like Vanderford, he'd come out looking at least slightly improved. That wasn't the case. I will say this, I think Vanderford is pretty overrated at the moment, even as a wrestler, but the timing of his takedowns tonight was really great. He picks his shots super well and I commend him for that.
