Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 1123rd

Rozenstruik vs. Sakai
Augusto Sakai, DEC
Depends what type of Bigi Boy we see. He tends to get backed up and looks to counter strike, so wouldn't bet on him to out point anyone by his aggression or volume. I think history repeats itself and Sakai takes a decision. They both have pretty good chins, and cardio won't be as much of an issue this time around for Sakai because Jairzinho won't force him to wrestle.

Harris vs. Tybura
Marcin Tybura, TKO, R2
Walt Harris gets gased QUICK if he can't get the knockout first round, and Marcin's got a chin. Takedowns incoming and "GROUND AND POUND" - Corey Anderson

Boser vs. Latifi
Tanner Boser, DEC
Tough one... I love Ilir and he looks HUGE at heavyweight. If Boser can avoid the takedowns, he'll stay on the outside though and out point Latifi.

Ponzinibbio vs. Baeza
Miguel Baeza, TKO, R2
I think Miguel is too technical to allow him to lunge in on his strikes like he does, and not sure if Ponzinibbio's the same fighter he used to be after being out so long with some baaad health issues. There's been too many changing of the guards lately to not bet on Baeza.

Ribas vs. Hill
Angela Hill, DEC
Tough one! Ribas is so cute lol I hate to pick against her, she's my favorite female fighter. But Angela's takedown defense been looking pretty good lately. Striking isn't even close between the two. If Angela can defend most of the takedowns first round, I think Amanda's cardio becomes an issue since she just had the rona

Moroz vs. Fiorot
Manon Fiorot, DEC
If Moroz had been knocked out even once in her career, I'd pick Fiorot by KO easily. I guess they call "Iron Lady" for a reason. But Fiorot's striking is too clean. Might still change it to a KO

Zalal vs. Woodson
Youssef Zalal, DEC
Woodson knows how to use his reach, that's the only thing I'm worried about.

De La Rosa vs. Lipski
Ariane Lipski, DEC
This probably plays out on the feet since they both usually like to take it to the ground. Lipski's got the better striking... just slightly lol

Puelles vs. Leavitt
Jordan Leavitt, DEC
Hard for me not to pick Leavitt by sub, he's so patient and technical on the ground. But I think Puelles might survive.

Breese vs. Arroyo
Antônio Arroyo, DEC
I'm surprise the picks are so lopsided. No way I can pick Breese when his most recent wins are 41 year old Daniel Kelly and Bellator-bound KB Bhullar.

Amirkhani vs. Landwehr
Makwan Amirkhani, SUB, R2
Might even be a knockout tbh, Nate just got KOed 2 months ago. I'm thinking a good old fashioned club 'n sub

Dolidze vs. Staropoli
Roman Dolidze, DEC
I'm so glad they changed Dolidze's opponent, cause I like him and didn't want him losing to Di Chirico. 4.5 inch reach advantage for a technical striker is gonna get the win for him. I just hope he gets his cardio in order this time

Sakai has a decent chance on activity alone. But he's VERY hittable and I don't think he's fought someone who hits as hard as Rozenstruik. Plus, Rozenstruik knows if he doesnt pull the trigger this time he's at risk of falling out of contention altogether.

If this were a 3 round fight, Sakai might be able to steal it. High volume vs low volume. But the guys who made Rozenstruik look bad, Gane, Overeem, JDS for a round and a half, were defensive themselves. They’d stick and move and not provide Rozenstruik with countering opportunities. But Sakai is a doofy volume puncher who is going to have to put himself in harms way to outwork him. He’s hittable and he fades. He will absolutely outwork him for a time, but he’s going to be eating heavy counters in return and I don’t think he’ll last the full 5.

Sorry, this’ll be the last fight of a big parlay so I’m just gonna mull it over every few hours and post a near identical thought until fight night.

@erison 100% agree with everything you said, I think Rozenstuck is another Derek Lewis, where he kinda bad but knock people out anyway, I think 25 minute might be to long not to get knock out because it heavyweight

Ngannou by SUB could be incredible value vs. Lewis.
I get the feeling he will want to take that fight to the ground, especially considering all of his recent wrestling training, and his sub game is very underrated/unexposed.

Lewis has been finished in every of his UFC losses, and easily. He does not have a fighter's heart, he's a giant man with giant power and he doesn't care about the game, I think he cares more about what he's gonna eat. Francis is gonna starch him, and it's gonna be on the feet.

Predictions: 5 of 13 Winners, 0 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 2913th

Rozenstruik vs. Sakai
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R2
zero confidence in this pick after bigi boys last performance but i havnt seen enough of sakai to pick him either

Harris vs. Tybura
Walt Harris, TKO, R2
surprisingly a coin flip for me, dont know who to go to in this bout

Breese vs. Arroyo
Tom Breese, DEC
Arroyos last performance was terrible and I doubt he has made any significant improvements since then. Breese should be a confident lock in this bout, I think he could tko arroyo buti see this going to the judges.

Ponzinibbio vs. Baeza
Miguel Baeza, TKO, R2
When I said give ponzinibbio a unranked opponent to refresh himself, I did not mean this

Dolidze vs. Staropoli
Roman Dolidze, DEC
Although dolidze last performance was not pretty, this should be a comfortable step down for him and he should dominate this fight on the ground, cruising to a 30-27 performance.

Todorović vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, TKO, R2
I always have to have one risky underdog pick that i know might make me look stupid, but here it is.

Moroz vs. Fiorot
Maryna Moroz, DEC
coin flip

Boser vs. Latifi
Tanner Boser, TKO, R1
Just going with the fresher younger fighter here

Zalal vs. Woodson
Youssef Zalal, DEC
Zalals hype might be down a drain but I think he can get past sean woodson and back on the winning streak. He is still very young and has a lot to learn so im hoping hes been training hard since hes on this 2 fight skid.

Patrick vs. Jones
Mason Jones, TKO, R2
coin flip

De La Rosa vs. Lipski
Ariane Lipski, SUB, R3
I just want to see a crazy kneebar again

Puelles vs. Leavitt
Claudio Puelles, SUB, R2
this is the pick where i go with my heart instead of my actual thoughts

Love this matchup a lot more for Duško. Rodrigues got rocked bad and knocked out by a less than technical striker in Jordan Williams on the Series, and yet somehow went on to win the Middleweight championship at LFA? Wow good for him, didn't expect that. But, Duško is too technical, and this will be a great fight for him to bounce back with.
