Paul Craig vs Jamahal Hill
In the main card opener, Paul Craig removed Jamahal Hill from the ranks of the unbeaten with a devastating first-round TKO in a meeting of light heavyweight contenders.
A minute into the fight, Craig clinched with Hill and pulled guard. Craig nearly locked up Hill’s arm, and while the Grand Rapids product escaped initially, Craig stuck with it and after getting an armbar sunk in, Hill was clearly injured. Hill hung tough, but the die was cast, with referee Al Guinee stopping the bout at the 1:59 mark.
The No.14-ranked Craig moves to 15-4-1 with the victory. The No.15-ranked Hill falls to 9-0, 1 NC.
