Anyone else also shocked by the Hermansson-Edmen matchmaking and odds? Edmen clearly wasnt ready for Brunson and looked like he hit a brick wall. So they give him a higher ranked (at the time the fight was made) and possibly trickier matchup?

We all know Carlos cannot stop a takedown...and Court likes to work the takedowns. The man didn't land a single takedown and went out there and got outstruck by Carlos Condit. His nose was full Arolvsky 2 minutes in. Don't put a dollar on the guy he doesnt have the ring IQ and doesn't have a gameplan.
We saw that if Claudio Silva doesn't get the submission...what does he do? His striking is not good.
And @Erison...I do agree this could be a trickier matchup for the young Shabazyan but I've got something telling me he's gonna win.
If he's worked on things and shored up his game since his last loss versus Brunson I could see him keeping the fight standing and landing some bombs on Hermansson. Edmen says he only wants to fight good guys...and that's the mentality of someone who works on their game and is confident. I'll give him a dog shot because I do still think he has a lot of potential.
Hopefully he's worked on that gas tank also..and patience. You can't go 100 on every guy in the first round and expect to always win that way.

In his 29 fight career, Court McGee has never once been submitted by anyone even though he has fought in the UFC since 2012! On top of that, he has only been knocked out one time in his career and that was against Santiago Ponzinnibio who is one of the hardest hitters in the division.
