Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 3 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 1470th

Font vs. Garbrandt
Rob Font, TKO, R2
think font is sharper

Yan vs. Esparza
Xiaonan Yan, DEC
gonna come down to if yan can stop the td's

Tafa vs. Vanderaa
Justin Tafa, TKO, R1
this is a garb fight that shouldn't be on the main card, let alone 3rd fight from the top. i have no idea who wins because i don't think either are ufc caliber. i'll go with tafa's "hype"

Spencer vs. Dumont
Felicia Spencer, TKO, R2
spencer is one of very few w145 that are legitimate, thinking she should handle dumont pretty easily on the ground, just a question of how she chooses to finish.

Dvořák vs. Ronderos
David Dvořák, DEC
ronderos just beat eric shelton so there's something to be said for that, but dvorak's experience and full camp should prevail.

Hermansson vs. Shahbazyan
Jack Hermansson, DEC
expecting hermansson to have a ground advantage if he can't control it standing.

Algeo vs. Ramos
Bill Algeo, DEC
tough call here, really unsure what'll happen.

Rothwell vs. Barnett
Ben Rothwell, DEC
i just don't really trust barnett's level of competition and how it'll translate here. gonna be a slob fest i think.

Silva vs. McGee
Claudio Silva, DEC
not sure silva finds the sub, but i think he'll be able to win the inside fight and scrambles.

Rodriguez vs. Silva
Bruno Silva, DEC
going with the guy that has seen a 3rd round before.

Culibao vs. Nuerdanbieke
Joshua Culibao, DEC
not that i have huge faith in kuya, but shayilan's competition is so spotty.

Ismagulov vs. Alves
Damir Ismagulov, DEC
shiny record. guess it's all favorites tonight, that's not fun =/

@BrandoRando I think it’s a tough call and close fight but ultimately I don’t think Yan will be able to keep it standing long and in space. I don’t think these ladies fought the same version of Claudia Gadelha but either way, styles make fights. I guess is Carla is not only the more tenacious fighter with better wrestling and gas tank than Claudia, but also has more mental fortitude. I think she will stick to her strength, know her roll, be relentless with her takedowns and sets them up better. I see a close decision, could be a controversial one too. Though I though Carla lost to Rodriguez, it was a close ass fight vs an absolute murderer. Yan has shown good TDD and may have the  ability to get back to feet but she hasn’t fought an anyone with the imposing wrestling style Esparza has that I can think of. I’m not sure the decision stand up fighter hurts Carla bad enough to stop Carla from imposing her gamelan.

All that said, I see it as a coin toss who knows. I could be dead wrong across the board.

Integral New Predictions

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 3 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 2088th

Hermansson vs. Shahbazyan
I am all over Jack Hermansson at -155. He has a weak inverted facelock and a xenophobic spinning back elbow. Hermansson will likely balance the underdog.

Rodriguez vs. Silva
I feel disposed to Bruno Silva at -375. He has a lame omoplata. Silva will victimize the deed. Never fails!

Dvořák vs. Ronderos
I am enamored with David Dvořák at -500. He has an accurate powerbomb. Dvořák will likely vaporize the corner man.

Medeiros vs. Hadžović
I adopt Damir Hadžović at -130. He has a jaunty brainbuster. Hadžović ought to locate the crowd noise.

Ismagulov vs. Alves
I have a crush on Damir Ismagulov at -550. He has a delusional lumberjack sweep. Ismagulov won't caress the underdog.

Culibao vs. Nuerdanbieke
I tap Joshua Culibao at -260. He has a passionate touch of death. Culibao could unsettle the masterpiece.

Rothwell vs. Barnett
I have a crush on Ben Rothwell at -345. He has a lascivious character. Rothwell won't ruin the achievement.

Spencer vs. Dumont
I want Felicia Spencer at -175. She has a nasty back mount. Spencer will likely damage the Octagon.

Tafa vs. Vanderaa
I take Justin Tafa at -190. He has a perfect spinning back fist. Tafa must fight the counteragent. I bet my life on it!
