Cachoeira/Mazany

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 538th

Honestly not sure why Mazany is so favored. What am I missing here other than the fact that Cachoeira apparently has a high strikes absorbed per minute?

Unless I'm missing something, that stat is almost certainly heavily skewed from her fight with Shevchenko where she was outstruck 230-3(!!!!). This is the only time Cachoeira has ever been finished.

Both fighters have finished other women 3 times in the 1st round respectfully. However, 3 of Mazany's 4 losses are FIRST ROUND FINISHES.

I'm by no means trying to insinuate Cachoeira is a lock. This could be a very close fight. I guess I just thought the odds and public perception would be a little closer to even.

Tony's just trying to give himself a spark. It's pretty transparent. Only problem is he's trying to pick a press conference fight with the nicest guy alive, so it's not working.

That's what I was thinking, Benny is such a good guy why did he pick this time to trash talk to him? It was out of character, and then calling out Khabib? What is wrong with him, he has always said weird and silly stuff, but this was different.

The thing is he was really strange on TUF, and that's what made me a fan of his.

Yeah it was weird stuff, like he didn't have any actual ammo. He was mad that Dariush trained with Gaethje for the Khabib fight?... not everyone kicks street signs, Tony. Some people have fight camps with sparring partners. Benny seems legit confused by a lot of what he said, because it barely made sense.

The Dana White Privilege line about Chandler was amazing though.

@flyingfrontkick I think Tony just want to promont  the fight, it the same thing when Izzy tried to trash talk Bobby knuckles before the fight. I think don’t hate the player, hate the game, UFC sometime is WWF promontanally, That why I think hating Colby Covington is stupid because dude is clearly playing a character, Colby is a good guy when you see through all the smock and mirror, and Colby not alone . Chandler copied a ric flair famest promo after knocking out Dan Hooker

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 1379th

Oliveira vs. Chandler
Charles Oliveira, SUB, R4
after seeing him tie tony in a knot i know hes capable of handling a wrestler, especially a newcomer to the UFC. Honestly I like Chandler but he might be overhyped for this match.

Ferguson vs. Dariush
Tony Ferguson, DEC
Tony got a serious chip on his shoulder and its a safe bet he wont tap or get KOed, so my decision win is with him.

Schnell vs. Bontorin
Matt Schnell, TKO, R1
All this weigh-in drama is pushing me in this direction.

Chookagian vs. Araujo
Katlyn Chookagian, DEC
Prob one of the safer picks on the card as all the experts are siding with Blonde, so here i am too.

Burgos vs. Barboza
Shane Burgos, DEC
Feeding on some of the data you guys are providing when it comes to striking. This one is going to be tight though.

Souza vs. Muniz
André Muniz, TKO, R2
Shout out to Duck regarding his review on this one, im with you here.

Grundy vs. Vannata
Lando Vannata, DEC
Popcorn pickem, odds should be closer to even. If your willing to walk out with that haircut your willing to do anything.

Pickett vs. Wright
Jamie Pickett, TKO, R3
Another 50/50 and potential fight of the night.

Lee vs. Shevchenko
Andrea Lee, DEC
Sleeper pick on the card, crazier things have happened but theres no reason the odds should be the way they are. I'm actually feeling pretty good on this one.

Mazany vs. Cachoeira
Gina Mazany, DEC
I would leave this one off your card as I have.

Aguilar vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz, TKO, R3
Getem boy time to go pro, and the other to step down.

Soriano vs. Giagos
Christos Giagos, DEC
The only thing making me uneasy about this one is the Blackzilians for Sean Soriano, really i dunno hoping it works out for me tho.

Charles has earned this **** and I'm excited for him. I think/hope he takes out Chandler. But the one positive in Chandler winning would be that it makes Pitbull's win over him look even better.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 10 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 680 Points   |   Tied for 3rd with 4 others

Oliveira vs. Chandler
Charles Oliveira, SUB, R2
chandler could crack him, but otherwise i think charles threatens more from each position.

Ferguson vs. Dariush
Beneil Dariush, DEC
kinda expecting beneil to stay technical and sting tony when he gets too cute.

Schnell vs. Bontorin
Matt Schnell, DEC
maybe i'm sippin the koolaid but schnell looked super improved last time out.

Chookagian vs. Araujo
Katlyn Chookagian, DEC
longer

Burgos vs. Barboza
Edson Barboza, DEC
barboza's potential is there, even at 35. burgos has it too, but he's gonna need to mix in td's if he starts getting chopped down standing.

Souza vs. Muniz
André Muniz, SUB, R2
ok i'll go backwards pick and hope to be wrong.

Grundy vs. Vannata
Lando Vannata, DEC
idk why i'm picking lando.

Pickett vs. Wright
Jamie Pickett, TKO, R2
should be fun, someone probably going out, i'll say wright leaves himself too open.

Lee vs. Shevchenko
Andrea Lee, DEC
td's can win lee the fight here.

Mazany vs. Cachoeira
Priscila Cachoeira, TKO, R2
i'll say mazany can't enter without eating meaningful shots.

Aguilar vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz, DEC
no read here so i'll trust the hype.

Soriano vs. Giagos
Christos Giagos, DEC
soriano can win standing but i'm unsure he can keep it there.
