I hope Tonys change in trainers helps him get back on track , definitely a tough fight but I think Ferguson could take a close decision 🤔

That's true, plus the fact that they are both Lightweight fights just goes to show how insanely stacked the division is right now!

As this fight draws closer, I find it harder and harder to predict. Charles has been on fire, although people allude it's due to moving up he did destroy Will Brooks, but in his next fight he was TKO'd (he tapped to elbows) by Paul Felder at 155.

I do wonder if he can take a solid punch from Chandler in the first round, Chandler has been working with Henry Hooft (spelling?) on his striking and he covers the distance well. He was one of the best straight rights in the business.

I don't think Charles has the best chin, and he's going up against a power puncher, obviously a very dangerous one. Chandler isn't a one trick pony either and has been in many difficult positions, and has never been submitted. But I don't want to count out Chandler's well roundedness, he is very well rounded just like Oliveira which makes this so hard to predict.

If Charles can avoid the power shots in round 1, I believe his chances of winning go up. I'm not sure who to pick in this fight but something is telling me Chandler because I doubted him so much in his first fight, and he kind of knows something we don't.

Going to be a hell of a fight.

@Flying_frontkick I agree and I hope Charles can walk through some punches early and make it interesting, but the more I think about a fight the more I worry I'm overthinking it. That's why I went with the simple pick of Chandler KO R1, just betting that his power is too much and he hurts Charles early.

I was watching this Khabib interview the last time that he fought when Chandler went to Fight Island to serve as a replacement.  Generally, I like Khabib, I think he is a great role model but this has to be the dumbest thing he has ever said:

He said that if he was to ever fight Michael Chandler, he wouldn't even need to use his wrestling.  When has Khabib ever not used his wrestling in a UFC fight?  All of a sudden Khabib is some K-1 kickboxer who is able to knock people out cold standing up?  Come on man.

I hope that Chandler wins on Saturday and then eventually Khabib comes back to fight him just to see what would actually happen.  I can guarantee you that Khabib wouldn't knock him out standing up that's for damn sure.

Khabib's striking wasn't pretty, but he outlanded Conor, Gaethje, Poirier. He timed guys, and they were so fearful of the takedown, he landed big shots.

Yeah but he still used his wrestling to defeat all three fighters.   He took all three down and submitted them.  He didn't knock them out cold standing up.  I have nothing against Khabib, he's a great fighter but that was the most ridiculous thing to say that he wouldn't need his wrestling at all to defeat Michael Chandler.

Just been watching ufc embedded

Michael Chandler seems like the type of guy to accidentally slip a finger up his ass while wiping and hesitate on pulling it out.
