Relieved to see Barboza wasn't too discouraged by that borderline robbery IMO against Ige.  I think he wins here if Burgos' plan is to walk straight into the buzz saw like he did against Emmett.  He'll really need to get his grapple game up or it's gonna be a leg kick TKO win for Barboza under 1.5.  I would say hopefully run it back with Ige after, but that' only if he wants to.  I personally think it's beneath a fighter to run back something everybody knows you won except for the 3 judges.  It also requires Ige gets by Tucker, which odds suggest he's barely better than a coinflip to do.  I'd rather see a guy with Ws over both Burgos and Ige, long criticized for his most conspicuous flaw, which is not defending leg kicks, Calvin Kattar.  But one fight at a time, Burgos is a advanced level test for anyone, I just think his style and skill set is tailor-made for Barboza's game. 8.6.1

I'm hoping Tony can take a W here and retire. Otherwise I think Dariush wins by KO in the 3rd round if the same Tony from the Oliveria fight shows up.

I'm with @Tieoken. It's a wrinkle of the sport: it's entertainment as well as competition. It would be unthinkable to "run back" a controversial razor-thin AFC championship game for the $$$ and have the NFC winner play the CFL champ in the Super Bowl, but in prizefighting, it's nigh-unthinkable to leave a huge PPV seller on the table. A little bittersweet for folks who value the integrity of the championship over "whatever sells", but that's the reality we live in.

ETA: this is not to disrespect Olivera or Chandler. Either would be a good choice against Poirier for the title, and the winner will be a more marketable opponent for the winner of Dustin/Conor.

I doubt this will go the distance either way. Chandler will be going for the knockout, but that's a double-edged sword.

Ferguson vs. Dariush
Tony Ferguson, TKO, R3
A year ago, it would have been blasphemy to pick against Ferguson. I'm sticking with him, but the milage might take this one from me.
