Reyes vs. Procházka
Jiří Procházka, TKO, R2
I had Reyes by DEC until weigh ins today. My flip flop is because i remember disliking Reyes cause of his style. After watching several more Jiri bouts i am a Jiri fan.

Getting cold feet on Lookboonmee. I believe in her skillset but at -400 when to my eye she's fighting someone at least a weight class above... doesn't seem worth it. She used to fight 105lbs, and Sam Hughes used to fight 130lbs.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 1722nd

Cutelaba vs. Jacoby
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
After watching the Jacoby vs. Grishin where the American was knocked down 2 times and was about to be finished several times in the first round, it is clear to me that Cutelaba has everything to take the fight. This time Jacoby faces an Ion who is a much younger fighter and who, in addition to having KO power, has a good Sambo / Judo base. Jacoby handles a good volume of hits, active clinch and a lot of combinations, but I think that coming from 2 losses Cutelaba will make a smart fight like against Rountree and get a finish with powerful Ground & Pound.

Strickland vs. Jotko
Sean Strickland, TKO, R2
Jotko uses wrestling very well and because of his work in the clinch (both in control and with his back in the cage) many of his fights end in split decision. Strickland has greatly improved his level in the combinations after being 2 years out of competition, the change of category has also been something very beneficial. Jotko is a 50-50 fighter: how can he forget when he managed to knock down Uriah Hall in the first round and was knocked out in the second round. Strickland might not be a heavy hitter, but with the volume of strikes he thought he would knock out late in the second round.

Botelho vs. Carolina
Poliana Botelho, DEC
Sanders has good takedown defense and those opponents who have taken him to the ground have not been able to add much control time, this factor is important because control time is essential in Felipe Colares' strategy. If Sanders stays on his feet and avoids falling into a no-brainer mood, he should easily take this fight.

Sanders vs. Colares
Luke Sanders, DEC
Sanders has good takedown defense and those opponents who have taken him to the ground have not been able to add much control time, this factor is important because control time is essential in Felipe Colares' strategy. If Sanders stays on his feet and avoids falling into a no-brainer mood, he should easily take this fight.

I agree @Fish. Its his choice whether he wants to accept or not of course. Im lead to believe tho that he did originally accept it and then after the face off's he changed his mind lol that's the part I don't like

@Erison -400 is absurd. I have her in a Parlay and she's literally the reason I'm considering cashing it out even though I got her at better odds than that.

I just cashed mine out. I liked her as a sort of parlay anchor. But that size difference is too much. I knew the four inch height difference, but I didn't realize til the staredown that it was an everything difference. She'll still probably win, it's not like Sam Hughes is anything special, and I'm overthinking it but... for -400 it should be Shevchenko level confident.

But now I'm looking and this whole card is just bizarre. I like Strickland, and next week I think Ludovit Klein is a lock. Trying to find a third leg here...

I have like 20% of my roll locked up on Klein and Leon Edwards at 1.80

In my mind that’s basically a lock for 80% return.

Jonathan Pearce is ***** made.

You know Dana aint gonna be happy bout this. So much about "thinking about my career". Dana prolly not gonna give him a fight for a while then give him a monster. I hope so at least.

Klein and Leon is a lock, IMO. I'm waiting to go big on Dustin Poirier, who's somewhere around -105. I'm shocked he's not the heavy favorite. Nothing flukey about that last fight. Even without the calf kicks, the way he survived the early barrage, took him down, and started outlanding him, he was taking over no matter what. And he only gets stronger as the fight goes on, and we know Conor doesn't.

See I’m thinking the same thing. But I love Dustin Poirier he’s been one of my favorite fighters since forever. And so I’m not sure if I trust myself to bet him again. It felt justified when he was a dog fighting Conor, but now it just feels like I’m being biased.

I just can't get down with Poirier in that fight to the extent that I'd go big on him, though I will be parlaying him up. He's definitely value though.
