OK, so journeywomen exist in women's boxing as well. I've seen a few women's boxers with 4-20 odd records but not a "proper" journeywomen like Noemi Bosques who can take wins from bad prospects.

Shields is very good. Unfortunately the US does not seem to give a ****! It does not look like she's gonna get the recognition or the pay she deserves for her talent. Womens boxing just hasn't seemed to take off yet. Especially compared the UFC and MMA in general. Claressa has been sitting in the front row watching Nunes, Cyborg, Holm all headline huge PPV cards and she must be thinking "why am I not treated like this in my sport?". Obviously that's why she signed up with the PFL. I think that's a good move for her. Even fighting in the PFL on ESPN is better than boxing on cards that nobody watches, despite her being the very best female boxing has to offer. Anyway, this fight, like all Shields fights will be very easy. Jab, jab, jab Jab!!

Heavyweight is a wasteland in female combat sports! A few reasons for this, 1 is the severe lack of actual competition. That's why Perkins is having to rematch someone she easily beat in her 3rd fight! Expect the trilogy next year!!! . A shame for Perkins because she actually has some skills. I just can't see a lucrative future for female Heavyweight boxing!

I really want to pick No No here! I am always super suspicious about undefeated boxers who have never beaten anyone with a win!!! The 2x she faced someone who had a win(3-3, ๐๐ฌ) she drew!!! Bosques has a funky AF record but at least she has been in there with legitimate competition (at least 3 current World Champions and a couple of former) She will definitely make this a competitive fight, probably ugly AF! But, yeah **** it! Split Decision win for NoNo!!!!!!
