Ufc veteran Paul Varelans, also known as the Polar Bear passed away a few hours due to covid-19. i followed him on social media and he was a very nice and funny individual. No more pain brother, hope we will beat this terrible virus that has taken many friends this year.

He was a true pioneer of the sport and helped to raise it's profile and bring in new fans. R.I.P Paul.

i had him on my FB and he always made interesting threads about the old days of the UFC. The SEG days.

Rip Paul, win or lose the Polar Bear delivered a good, entertaining fight for the fans. I hope his loved ones may one day mentally recover from something as tragic as a loss of a family member.
