Somebody's 0 has gotta go!
Foxx vs. Veazey
Joseph Veazey, TKO, R1
Joseph Veazey isn't exactly a knockout artist but I'm sure that Davon Foxx will find a way of getting knocked out.

I agree that journeymen are crucial to boxing as promoters will always want to set their prospects up with an "easy" fight to build their records up while protecting the prospect's 0 and the prospects learn a lot from those fights and become better boxers but I've got a question.
As you know, the Japanese don't **** about with their matchmaking and get the best prospects to fight the other best prospects and they don't care about losing the 0. We've also said that we wished the West did this (to clarify, I do believe the Japanese way is better) but if the West did adopt that attitude and got the best prospects to fight each other then wouldn't that put journeymen out of a job as the promoters wouldn't need to worry about protecting their fighter's 0 and the prospects would be fighting the other up and coming prospects and learning from those experiences instead?

Thanks for answering! Good to know that the West could adopt the Japanese approach without putting journeymen out of work. Hopefully someday we will!
