I mean, what can be said about Ngannou? He looked amazing. He added new skills to his game, which are definitely going to serve him well going up against Derrick Lewis or Cyril Gane in the future. Particularly impressed by the kicks he landed. His left hand has also improved a lot, scoring a knockdown which would lead to the stoppage. Other than the physical improvements, his biggest changes by far were 100% mental. He looked patient and was not as ****y as last fight. It's too bad he's almost 35 years old, because I would like to see him be champion for a long time.
On the other hand, what can be said about Miocic? He didn't look great, that's for sure. Even where he was meant to dominate, he didn't. He got Ngannou against the fence once and had a single leg attempt, but was not able to capitalize. This might sound crazy but Stipe either needs to move down to 205 or retire. He'll be 39 years old this summer and he no longer has the physical potency he needs in the heavyweight division.
