Sato vs. de Andrade
Shoko Sato, TKO, R1
Fabricio de Andrade is simply no match for Shoko Sato.

Sawada vs. Catalan
Ryuto Sawada, DEC
Ryuto Sawada has the better ground game but I like what I've seen of Robin Catalan so I'd expect him to put up a good performance and he certainly won't make it easy for Sawada.

ANY LIVE DOGS OUT THERE??

Let me start by saying its hard to be confident in any of dogs on this card but because I'm a sucker for the dogs let me make a case for ****s and giggles. Rahul Raju vs Ahmed Mujtaba. So Raju will be the taller longer man on the feet and has a decent 1- 2 with a pretty good head kick. He is a brown belt in BJJ and showed some resilience vs Tonon while getting his necked cranked and not tapping. Was also able to get out of some heel hooks and leg scrambles in that one and Tonon is a BJJ MONSTER. To wrap it up Raju has 2 rear naked chokes in ONE and is facing a guy that has given his neck up in 2 of his last 3. Also I didn't like what I saw out of Mujtaba in his last outing vs Ma Jia Wen where he gassed out hard after the first grappling exchange that went to the ground. After that he was toast and got dropped when the fight stood back up, couldn't find his stool between rounds and got rag dolled in the second before getting choked out. So for me if I'm picking a dog on this card it will be Raju. I don't trust his chin so he could very well come out and get clipped early while Mujtaba has something on his shots but if this fight drags on I like the dogs chances.

SlipperyWhenDry, Pay closer attention.  Gary Tonin purposely gave up both heel hooks in round 1, it is blatantly obvious.  He could have ended that, but chose to let it go on for more entertainment it seems.

@Frog

Clearly Tonon would destroy this guy all day every day. Luckily he's fighting someone not on that level here and should have a better go at it. I was simply stating I though it was impressive he lasted that long with Tonon and was able to get out of some of those scrambles. Even the guy calling the fight got quite excited about it. As far as him letting it go, idk that's debatable imo. But I do remember them saying coming into that fight he wanted to stay in there a while and get some experience so you could very well be correct.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 6 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 36th with 46 others

Fairtex vs. Rassohyna
Stamp Fairtex, DEC
ONE finally moving Fairtex up the ladder a bit. Even if Rassohyna's record is a little misleading. You see 12-4 which isn't a bad record these days, but the issue is in the quality of those fights. A TON of debuting or 1 fight fighters that she faced. And she's been out of action for 16 months. But she's still put in work over 16 fights, which is probably the combined amount of fights (MMA Fights) that all of Fairtex's previous opponents had. Something to note there. Look, I think Fairtex wins, but I don't think she finishes the fight early. I think the judges will be needed for this one.

Barghi vs. Kang
Ji Won Kang, TKO, R1
I guess ONE is hoping Kang just brutalizes Barghi with the first shot he throws and touches him with, because he's booked for another fight in literally a month.

Raju vs. Mujtaba
Ahmed Mujtaba, DEC
If you wanna get technical about ****.... Mujtaba hasn't actually won a fight in 4+ years. Sure, he was handed a win due to illegal strikes. But the last time he won a fight for putting in the work, was November of 2016. ONE is using the "Take it or leave it" approach with both of these guys. They just want this matchup so badly, they also feel like "the 3rd time is a charm" considering this fight was scheduled and cancelled twice already in 2019.

I don't know if these count as predictions as this was pre-recorded but this is what I think would've happened. None of the fighter's have told me the outcomes, honest!

Here is something interesting that I've come across tonight. I was planning on betting on this ONE Championship event happening Friday Feb 5. I made bets earlier in the week on BetOnline. They canceled all of the bets today. Apparently the event is pre-recorded, already happened on January 25, from the wiki page:

ONE Championship: Unbreakable 3 will be a Combat sport event held by ONE Championship on January 22, 2021 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. It was first broadcast on February 5, 2021.

The odds were released 2-3 days ago, and the odds swung fast. There were 4 bookies that had the odds out. They have all cancelled them now. Super sketchy.

MMA Junkie released an interview with the main event fighter Stamp on Feb 3.  Considering they apparently fought already on January 25, this is also very suspect.

They both seemed pretty gassed by the end, but good job for Kang.

I've never seen a professional athlete gassing so easily as Barghi did against Big Boi Kang. Still an impressive outing by the Korean.

I'm still not very conviced Kang can fight in a month time, even if he does I'm sure he'll lose in R1.
Aliakbari is the better version of Barghi and Kang was having some problems with this Iranian
