I like will knight seems a cool guy not sure about gym claims or roids but he needs to train striking for at least a year and nothing else.
Pretty sure 47 reps at or around body weight is world class the bs football thing means less than nothing.
According to an interview I read years ago Brendan Scaub did like 20 and that was more than any ufc type at the time.

My favorite part of that was when McGregor reminded Nate Diaz that his training partners Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez both took steroids and came up positive. Glorious

Didn't Duterte try to convince him to run before? I'm pretty sure they're friends.

pac just filed a libel suit against duterte's favorite preacher, they've had a falling out after pac accused him of not stopping corruption like he promised on the campaign trail. philippine politics is more ****** up than american politics...if thats even possible.

Duterte is a garden-variety despot but he's not so deranged that he'd rub out Pacquiao. That would be enough to cause a revolution in the Phillipines.

Didn't Duterte send death squads to take out the homeless???
Yeah, Manny better watch his back!

@Mikey he didn't do that but he alluded to maybe doing it. He saber-rattles a lot. He threatened to expand his war on drugs to people 'loitering', and said if he saw anybody meandering about in the streets he would hog-tie them and throw them into a river. He was probably referring to bums but didn't explicitly say it. You'd best wear a flotation device under your T-shirt if you're planning a trip there just to be on the safe side.

Oh right. I just remembered reading that statement somewhere. Kinda grabbed my attention! Ha
Glad he didn't actually go through with it. But I have a feeling that he's done some shady ****.

@Phillip. I saw that he was trying to do a work around to stay in control. Yea wouldn't surprise me if something happened to Pacquiao. People will get enraged, protest, then eventually forget like they always do. Give Pac-Man lots of credit and huge balls for running, practically against Duterte and running on a anti-corruption platform. If he wasnt a national treasure and already famous, he would have visited already

the president and vice president dont run on the same ticket, they have separate campaigns and might not even be the same party. his daughter, sara is getting pushed to run but claims she likes being mayor of davao city. i guess we'll see how it plays out as the deadline for filing is fast approaching.

You know America used to have a system like that where the runner up would join the president in the oval office as vice president. Imagine if that was still a thing lol.

@Phil the ICC is a Tribunal, he's not under any obligation to even turn up and even if he did whatever came out of that would be non-binding. He'll likely just tell them to go take a flying **** at a rolling barrel in all probability.

he already has. duterte withdrew the philippines from the International Criminal Court in 2019 as soon as he got wind of them investigating his "war on drugs". there are lots of people after him, hes only got executive privilege while hes in office. he seems at least mildly worried about it. we'll see what the election brings.
