Tapology pick odds for Conor vs Brimage lol
https://imgur.com/a/a6WaZ9g
but foreal I was looking at Brimage's record earlier and I can see why they were giving those crazy matchups. He was 6-1 with two wins over 10-0 opponents plus he pull off a very underrated knock out two fights after losing to Conor.

To be fair he would argue about anything he and freemoney who also seems gone went on about evolution for a spell.
I never had a run in with him unlike several other trolls on here, greg made it easy to block em so all the *****ing you hear is for sake of being heard.
Still the best forum ive ever been on hell we even have some fighters on here.

Imagine Jackie Robinson while breaking the color barrier in baseball all of a sudden said "Nah not today guys, my anxiety is crippling"
I don't mind nor care what she chooses to do either way. Do what makes ya happy, good on you. I do believe she will regret it down the road when she looks back at all the medals she could have had but again that affects no one but herself.

I'd never heard of her before this whole thing so I've no idea what sort of athlete she's normally like but the way I look at it is like this: She's the only person who knows what's going on inside her head so she's the only person in a position to decide what's right for her. I'm sure she is a highly motivated athlete as getting to the Olympics and winning gold medals isn't exactly something you can do in your spare time but if she decides that leaving all that to focus on her mental health is the right thing to do, then that's her call. I'm sure it sucks for her teammates in the team events though and I do feel sorry for them but that's the only valid criticism that I can think of in this situation.

However, to stretch logic a little bit, this reminds me a little of how elite starting pitchers were used decades ago, specifically Sandy Koufax. Dodger management was adamant that they couldn't allow Koufax to be a "seven-inning pitcher". They needed him to pitch effectively for nine innings, even with the arthritis and circulatory issues he was having. Koufax was brilliant, but he pitched his last game at age 30, saying that he may lose the use of his arm if he stayed in the game. Sports medicine has learned a lot about how to protect pitchers against career-ending injury and catastrophic chronic conditions, and today complete games are about as common as me having a threesome with two Brazilian models. I mean, they happen, but they're rare. In today's conditions, Koufax would have had a much better shot at a normal career - because sports medicine knows a lot more than it did in 1966.
Perhaps in fifty years we will have learned more about athletes and mental health and recognize how many careers - and lives - were ruined by "toughing it out". Or maybe not. It's difficult to tell, and damned if I have enough background to say with my pissant Big 10 psych degree. I know what my gut tells me, but my gut is kind of an idiot sometimes. Two weeks ago, we lost a big account at work and a friend of mine was murdered, so I quite sensibly took Friday afternoon off. That's not the same as the Olympics, but Biles already has more hardware than True Value, and Lee won the Gold anyway. It will be interesting to see how we look at it five years from now.
