if they don't cut Alvey now, which they should have done already, I'll begin to think they're doing it on purpouse or they made some unusual mistake in a contract which sounds even less possible

That's one of the toughest things about learning languages. I've been contemplating seriously trying to learn Japanese but the problem is I don't know of many Japanese speaking people in my area. There's plenty of people in my area who speak Spanish and Chinese so I'd probably have an easier time learning those but I'm not really interested in learning those languages.

I know that feeling. It breaks your language confidence as you are not sure whether a native speaker (or even someone who is learning it as well) would understand you or not

A bit of balance on Sunday: in addition to the fiery red sermon, there was also blue news from the US of A. Trump's narcissistic chatter during CPAC apparently shook up even the sleepiest politician, because Biden is on the loose again. Joe tested negative for corona both yesterday and today and therefore leaves the dusty basement where they hid him for the past week. Trump may be spouting a lot of nonsense, but he does speak to many Americans and is well on his way to reclaim the white villa, so it's time for the Democratic grandpa to pretend to run the country. After all, there are only so many wanted terrorists to divert attention from growing domestic problems such as skyrocketing inflation, a derailed abortion debate and some ten thousand other issues. Not that Trump solves it, but at least he makes the voters feel heard and that is apparently enough at a time when Biden can't even get Pelosi to listen. And so the two-time corona battle winner must grab the reins and guide the most beautiful nation on Earth back on track with his inspiring speeches and powerfully spoken one-liners. Fear no longer America: your hope in fearful days is back. Biden is at the helm and immediately goes... on vacation. What a country. What a leader. USA! USA! USA!
