Let me Start, I find it insane it like 4 days to Chrismas , Im suprise it so close to the end of the Year,  Fells like Junes.Anyone have anything cool plan for Chrissy, I’m probley just gonna mess around at the gym

working at a print shop I want to say I can easily bootleg us all some just pay for shipping. Out of respect to Greg I won't do it without his go ahead haha

I think greg can make alot of money. Plus when you start seeing fans wear shirts at UFC events, it will be a very proud moment for the website, plus sell even more stuff. Its probably a ton of stress and time, added onto his already busy and stressful schedule. Assuming hes making enough money not to be concerned with merchandise. But considering it is a really good idea

the actual printing of the shirts or whatnot is the simple part. remaking his website to have a shop section and then setting up shipping and all that and continuously taking packages to be shipped daily is the time consuming part that gets old quick. If he outsources 1 or 2 parts of the operation his profits are down the drain cause you can only sell a T shirt for so much (unless you're a hypebeast lol) . Come on Greg lets make the people happy haha

Many years ago we actually made like 100 tshirts and put a link up to buy them.  Not nearly as many people bought them as the number of people who SAID they would buy one!! So we got stuck with a lot of extra shirts which took time to slowly use up.

Also the time and cost of packing up and mailing each shirt was a real pain in the ass! Folding up the shirt, typing in the shipping label information, printing it, taping the label on, etc. Then going to the post office or wherever.  The whole thing was insane. For the few dollars in "profit" on each shirt, we probably would have been better off doing a ride as an Uber driver, in the same amount of time.

Also I wasn't happy with the quality of the shirts and the printing. So there's some trial and error needed to get a satisfactory product.

Probably the way to do it is to use some kind of dropshipping service that does the shipping/etc for you. Maybe some day we'll get it all figured out.

Greg contact me. I work at a print shop. Have ties with Sanmar and can get shirts very cheap depending on the quantities, as well as a UPS label printer and daily pick ups from UPS. There's money to be made on your end just sitting there doing nothing. As well as i think the Tapology fan base has grown exponentially over the years. International shipping is where you will find the most cost if anything. If i make my way to the shop this weekend i will try to knock out a black and white version and possibly ship them to you for approval? 

@hideff i truly, really appreciate it, but it's just not a project for right now. there's only so many things we can get involved in, and most things we just have to say no to, unfortunately.

Yeah that definitely sounds like more hassle than it's worth, and once you go to outsourcing sites like wordpress or whatever, the shirts are like $35

Its absolutely a hassle if you're not in the production of the shirt. If you are in the production however it can become very lucrative.
