Although I'm probably just casting pearls before swine, I'd like to clarify that Greg suspended me for making statements about Muslims--specifically to the effect that I stated I didn't particularly care how many were killed in the Middle East.
There is no Muslim race. Islam is not a race any more than scientology is a race. Greg is a scurrilous sperg who cannot grasp the distinction and now I find him deliberately misrepresenting what transpired and led to my suspension. Bravo, detective. And go **** yourself.
Moving on, I've had a really good time talking **** with you guys. Time enjoyed wasting isn't exactly wasted time. Regardless, this is the last Tapology post I will ever make.

All I can say is that I hope his two sisters make full recoveries. Regardless of the outcome or if he's even sentenced for anything, that's almost certainly the end of Irwin Rivera's UFC career and possibly the end of his fight career as a whole.

He did it 100%. He admitted to it according to that article. It's just a case of whether he goes to prison or gets sent to a hospital. I think it comes down to whether or not he could be classed as "criminally insane" or if he gets a lighter punishment due to diminished responsibility. The fact that he claimed that a "higher power" told him to do it, there is certainly an argument that he's criminally insane.

DC is right about the mindset that Poirier will need against McGregor but it could be hard for Poirier to convince himself that he "just got caught" last time as McGregor was in full control of that fight. Having said that, Poirier has improved a lot since that last fight so it could be a close fight. I'm still unsure of who I'm gonna pick in this one.

Yeah, he got hit on the back of the head but as you said it was an accident and happened as Poirier was trying to dodge it. That sort of thing can't really be helped in fights when both fighters are reacting quickly. There was no malicious intent from McGregor.
