The funny thing is that I didn't read any Dr Suess growing up as the schools in the Britain used the legendary Biff & Chip book series to teach us to read! Dr Suess has nothing on these legends here in Britain!

Off topic But I just check UFC ranking and Khabib is still champ and I find that to be crazy. Hes never coming back, And if he is, Who care if he champ, It just stalling the division out and not letting someone else to become champ

TBH I think Dana's just lying to himself about Khabib coming back at this point. He's still hoping that it's like one of McGregor's many retirements but Khabib isn't like that. I think Dana would be constantly begging him like "C'mon, you know you want to become 30-0!" but Khabib doesn't care whether his record is 29-0, 30-0 it makes no difference to him.

Yes I agree 90 percent with the move on dana topic, I see a ten percent chance of a comeback but not for the title or at light.
That seems like the only glory for him and he would of course be copying those who went before.
GSP to a lesser degree Anderson or Randy Couture but he went to lhw to be champ not holding a belt.

Khabib is stringing Dana along until after this Makhachev fight (assuming that hes going to win) and going to try to convince Dana to put Makhachev into the title conversation. Khabib has been very adamant about passing the belt off to Islam if he could. I think If Makhachev wins this one you could see him matched up against a Do Bronx or a Gaethje and with a win in one of those hes right into the title talks. Probly far fetched but I could see the Russians doing it. Theres a reason Khabib keeps taking Dana's meetings.

If this article is anything to go by then that is exactly what Khabib is trying to do. It mentions that Abdulmanap thought of Islam Makhachev as Khabib's successor when Khabib retired and it seems like Khabib is determined to make his father's vision a reality.

I know it was his fathers dream for that to happen and Khabib would love to help make it happen. I think this plan was kind of screwed over on bad timing really. There is a reason Islam was scheduled on the Khabib Gaethje card against RDA (the person everyone takes a title path through) and then when covid killed those plans the rescheduled it for 3 weeks later. If timing went right Khabib would have retired after Islam won and he would already be in those title talks. Covid kept cancelling his fights making this whole plan of passing the belt from Khabib to Islam not good timing. If covid didnt cancel anything and he beat RDA that night i think you would already see him matched with Do Bronx or Chandler or Gaethje. Covid ruined the plan
