I know nothing about vinyl but I feel you could amass a gigantic collection of old albums relatively cheap and fill a whole wall. Kinda like VHS tapes. Would be pretty cool if your into that stuff.

@Xconchris

Kind of, vinyl outsold CD for the first time in decades so companies are slowly catching on to the trend. Basically any vinyl that's new or popular is probably overpriced.

I prefer music on Vinyl. The downside is it's very expensive and inconvenient.

I see older vinyls free at 2nd and Charles (store) and craigslist often. Or dirt cheap lots for boxes of them. Seems like nobody wants alot of the old ones that were mass produced. Could make a fun project

Worth having a rummage. It's like anything else, really, demand drives pricing. If you find a record that is period for a popular band, there's a good chance it's worth something. I've paid a lot for some, especially the 90's press of smashing pumpkins (Siamese dream) which is probably my most valuable.

Some are worth thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, especially period pressings of the beatles, led zep etc.

I've had a CD collection since my early teens but I've also got a small collection vinyl records along with a record player that I inherited after my grandparents passed away a few years ago. Mostly easy listening. Sold the one's I wasn't too keen on but they weren't worth too much. I play them occasionally, and I prefer the fact that you actually have to do more to set it up other than just putting a CD in as it feels like more of an experience if that makes sense?

I also had no idea that my nan was obsessed with Val Doonican.

Street beefs. That reminds me of bum fights from back in the day. Also I see Street beefs seems to have a hall of fame before Bellator did. 😆

Fuuuuck. MMA fans better not let Chuck off the hook for this just because he's more liked than Jon Jones.

They say one of the best signs of CTE is poor anger management and prone to violence mix this in with the fact Chuck's already a violent man and you got yourself a bad recipe. Chuck since the last Tito fight has always had a sort of deer in the headlights look to him, and I know whatever medical issues he's facing were so severe Dana had to give him a million dollar job to keep him away from entering any combat sports.

Not trying to defend Chuck's spousal abuse, it's a very serious and horrible thing, but I really do wonder how melted that brain of his is.

Brain trauma is real yo. People like to think they aren't just a biological computer, but if you **** that **** up enough suddenly you're a completely different person.

I'm in no way an expert on any of it but even with my uneducated opinion on the matter I can confidently say that I am 100% certain brain trauma can lead to people becoming violent lunatics, because I have personally seen it.

Maybe that's what we are beneath the Marzipan; violent apes motivated by the need to **** and kill things, executing a few lines of code in order to  hurtle copies of ourselves into a future that might not even exist.
