Leo vs. Fulton
Stephen Fulton, DEC
I've liked what I've seen of Stephen Fulton in his previous fights and I'd expect him to control most of the action in this fight.

Romero vs. Pauldo
Rolando Romero, TKO, R3
Rolando Romero can bang! It will either be an early KO or it will drag out to a decision but I'm going to pick the more exiting option!

Leo vs. Fulton
Stephen Fulton, DEC
I'll be the first to admit I don't follow much boxing and usually just make picks based on the strength of competition each fighter has faced, so I have to go with Fulton here since he has beaten more people with perfect or excellent records. Leo crushed more cans on his way here, but sometimes that just means a fighter doesn't have as much mileage on his chin.

Aleem vs. Pasillas
Raeese Aleem, TKO, R9
even as a boxing casual I've heard of this guy

Predictions: 1 of 4 Winners, 1 Perfect, 75 Points   |   Tied for 60th

Leo vs. Fulton
Angelo Leo, DEC
Well well well, what do we have here?? A boxing main event that is an actual true 50/50. WUT!!!??? Look at the Bookies odds for proof, Fulton is around - 150 and Leo +130. Usually the main event of a boxing card the favourite is - 400 all the way to - 1000!!!! So yeah, this is a good close fight for once. These guys were meant to fight for a vacant World Title last August but 3 days before the fight Fulton tested positive for COVID. Leo went on to put a whooping on the replacement, 18-0 Tramaine Williams, that was a really great performance I actually thought Williams would outslick Leo but Leo destroyed him with pressure, combinations and a brutal body attack. That fight is a good marker for this fight as Williams is very similar to Fulton, slick boxers, great footwork and counter punching. Now Fulton is a better version of that style than Williams but Leo beat Williams very convincingly. So even if Fulton is better is he that much better or does Leo always beat that style??? Hmmmmm??? Also Leo won the World Title, he is now a legitimate World Champion, that can have a very positive effect. Now he has more money, better access to training facilities/expenses and just the confidence that he is the Champ!!! I think that is key. I think Fulton may start sharp but I can see Leo, who also has a tremendous gas tank, applying more pressure and landing more as the fight continues to win

Aleem vs. Pasillas
Vic Pasillas, DEC
Wait, what. No way. Another actual 50/50 fight in the co main event!! *** is going on?? Again look at the Bookies odds,(doesn't look like many people on Tap are?) Aleem +140, Pasillas - 160. Both these guys are kinda similar. Pressure, Pace, Combinations, classic Boxer Punchers. I like Pasillas. I hadn't heard about him until a few months ago when he turned up on Fox and beat the piss out of a 17-0 highly touted future Champ, like he beat him BBBAAADDDD!!!! So I found out a little bit more about Pasillas. Turns out he was majorly talented Team USA amateur with over 200 wins! Expected to turn professional and become a Champ. Unfortunately promoter issues almost ruined all that, he had 3 years out of the ring. But he is back, judging by the last performance he is supremely motivated to make up for lost time and make good on all that early promise. Now Raeese Aleem is no chump, he is a very good fighter. I just can't get that last performance by Pasillas out my head and I love a good comeback story!!!

Romero vs. Pauldo
Justin Pauldo, DEC
I guess nobody watched Romeros last fight. To call it a robbery is an understatement! He clearly lost 10 of 12 rounds, everyone watching, the commentary, journalists, fans all had him losing big. Everyone but those filthy crooked judges. Honestly it was BAD! Romero showed that he is an extremely limited boxer, yes he has power in his left hook. But he has no footwork, no jab, no ringcraft, no clue how to box at this level. Unless he has made significant changes he won't go far. Thing is, his promoter obviously is trying hard to erase that. Paulo ain't no World beater, (yet he's fighting for an Interim World Title!!! **** you WBA!!!) Pauldo doesn't have power, and he's been KO'd before (obviously that's another thing Romeros promoter looked at!). I really hope Pauldo out boxes Romero here because I absolutely hate to see guys rewarded when they clearly lost!

Welp, Romero vs Pauldo is off because Pauldo missed weight by 5lbs then failed pre fight medical!!!
So in steps Avery Sparrow, actually a decent Philly boxer. But he's stepping up on a day's notice!!!
Still rooting for Rollies to get smashed. Especially after listening to his pre fight interview. What a little twerp!!!

Leo UD. love this matchup. 2 young potential superstars each facing a completely new type of challenge in one another. that makes it very hard to call but the Avelar fight maybe gave a glimpse into SF's possible trouble with pressure and AL's pressure can be overwhelming. for as long as they stand at range, speed and footwork give SF a clear advantage but AL has shown an excellent fight IQ for a brawler and should pace himself appropriately. another concern is that SF was inconsistent for long stretches (R3-5 and 9-11) against Khegai and he can't afford to take rounds off here.

Aleem UD. great matchup! lots of speed volume and power on both sides. VP has shown a better range game with more variety and very crisp single shots and short combos from range but his tech starts to fall off when he extends combos and brawls. i wonder how disciplined he will be against a guy he can't easily control from distance. RA seems better in the pocket and cleaner technically overall. maybe lacks confident range tools but is crafty enough to force the exchanges he likes. RA has a much more active defense and while VP's defense has been good so far, he had a few ugly moments against Encarnacion, both when backing up and getting countered, despite a massive speed advantage. also slight advantages for RA from facing better competition, being a little bigger and being more active.

Uppity New Predictions

Predictions: 1 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 75 Points   |   Tied for 60th

Leo vs. Fulton
I believe in Stephen Fulton at -150. He has an obscene side kick to the throat. Fulton should grind the masterpiece.

Aleem vs. Pasillas
I believe in Vic Pasillas at -165. He has a kempt double wrist lock. Pasillas should shatter the adversary.

@Oddsbot

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the laws of boxing but a side kick to the throat would result in Stephen Fulton getting disqualified.

Also, if Vic Pasillas can do a double wrist lock while wearing boxing gloves then he's going far in life!
