Joseph Parker, DEC
I imagine this will be a fairly comfortable UD win for Joseph Parker but he won't have it all his own way and there will almost certainly be times when Junior Fa causes him some problems but like I said, he should win it.

@a***

That's interesting to know! I didn't really look at their amateur records because I felt that once they've had as many pro fights as they have, their game would've improved and evolved drastically since then. Much like how Dillian Whyte beat Anthony Joshua in an amateur fight but when they fought each other as professionals, Joshua destroyed him. Both Junior Fa and Joseph Parker have a lot of professional experience now so I'd expect this fight to look completely different to their amateur fights.

Fa vs. Parker
Junior Fa, DEC
Real chance of an "upset" here IMO. Yes, Parker was a World Champion but what does that even mean nowadays? Yes, he's fought much better competition but he lost comfortably to Joshua, a good fight with Whyte in which they both dropped each other but really Whyte was dominating all fight until tiring and getting caught in the last round. Then his fight vs Andy Ruiz, I really think Ruiz won that comfortably and if it wasn't in New Zealand Ruiz would've had the win. Also the Hughie Fury fight, I think Fury won that too, it was a terrible fight so no one really won! My point is that Parker is not an elite Heavyweight. These guys are pretty evenly matched and also Fa has beaten Parker several times in the amateurs. Yes, pros is a different game but still it counts for something. Maybe I'm wrong but I think Fa will win a decision here and at near 8 to 1 I am definitely chucking a cheeky 10er on him!!!

Another ROBBERY!!!!!

Predictions: 7 of 7 Winners, 5 Perfect, 550 Points   |   1st Place

Man I was right about Joseph Parker being nowhere near World class!!! Junior Fa beat him to the punch, continously tied up with and hit in the clinch and off the break. He won every round after the 4th.

Luckily I changed my pick last minute because the judges absolutely jobbed Junior Fa!!!! 2 of them had it 11 rounds to 1 in favour of Parker!!! WT??????

****** hell! Gotta feel bad for Junior Fa. That was his chance to get himself a World Title fight. He won that for everyone watching apart from 3 blind, more like corrupt old ass judges!!! Now he'll be stuck fighting random old Heavyweight in New Zealand instead of getting a shot at a big fight.
I love boxing but it continues to give me reasons to hate it!!!

Final point.

To be fair. It was a **** fight and performance from both fighters!!! It was OK for a couple of rounds then they both got tired and just clinched, held, broke, fell back into the clinch for the rest of the fight.
If the judges gave it to Parker by 1 round I wouldn't really say anything, I thought Fa won by 3 or 4 but a lot of rounds were **** and your deciding who clinched better!!!
But for 2 judges to only give Fa 1 round???? That's utterly ********!!!

What was with the landslide scoring from 2 of the Judges in the Joseph Parker Vs Junior Fa fight... These incredulous judging decisions are becoming too common place... The fight appeared to be very, very close... Junior Fa proved his worth as a 2nd Tier World Class Heavyweight... He should feel very positive about his effort, contribution and determination throughout the entire fight, whilst Joseph Parker, worked hard, controlled the early stages especially and was the aggressor throughout the contest... Decent Heavyweight contest between two fighters who appeared to be on a very similar level... I do think that the fight Joseph Parker had against Razvan Cojanu, that he Won clearly on Points back in May 2017, as a 1st Defence of the WBO World Title, when Hughie Fury was unable to travel to New Zealand and was supposed to be the Mandatory Challenger to Joseph Parker at the time was the telling moment that you realised Joseph Parker was a Super tough Heavyweight, with fast hands, loads of heart, determination and will to be a Champion... However, it was that particular fight that also showed where Joseph Parker's ceiling was at, because a World Class Heavyweight with World Class Heavyweight Power handles an awkward, big unit with limited skills at World Level with ease and surely despatches him inside 6 Rounds, ala Daniel Dubois, Luiz Ortiz, but Joseph Parker couldn't... He has never improved from that point onwards... He his, game, tough as they come, with a granite chin and he applies good, consistent aggressive pressure throughout, but he just doesn't have enough pop in his punches, that become telegraphed after 4 - 5 Rounds, when his arms go tired and he starts to slowly run out of punch ending energy... In the Heavyweight Division, due to the difference between Elite, World Class and Contender level, the skills Parker has will only ever take him so far... A shame, because if Parker had a World Class Power punch at the top of the Heavyweight Division, he could be a different animal altogether, because he does have good, solid skills... I personally would like to see how Joseph Parker would perform against Otto Wallin, or in a rematch with Andy Ruiz... I also think a fight between the Winner of the rematch between Robert Helenius Vs Adam Kownacki would make a lot of sense in the scheme of things too 🤔🧐🥊👊👊🥊🤑👍

In my analysis earlier, I kind of forgot about Dereck and linking him to a fight with Joseph Parker... Personally, I think it is a very good fight, but as always the top Heavyweight's (In the World we live in, especially when it is between those who match themselves up with a fellow top 20 Heavyweight and if possible on a Matchroom Card in the UK) always like to get well paid, which is fair enough, so long as the Undercard is well put together with some regional Championship fights and some further 50/50 bouts are also included, with both guys coming to Win... In an ideal World, an Event staged by a Main Event involving Dereck 'War' Chisora Vs Joseph Parker would be £9.99 in the UK, but with how Eddie does things with his Promotional Company, it will probably be £14.99 in the UK... All I will say at this point is, if Dereck can get himself into the same shape as he did for the Oleksandr Usyk fight and bring the heat 🔥 to Joseph Parker from the very 1st Bell, then he his more than capable of beating the Joseph Parker who just edged Junior Fa on the Cards earlier today... Dereck also has the Heavyweight type power that will switch your lights off if your head runs into his fist, especially a Right Hook, or your defense is a little leaky and you get catched clean on the Jaw, so Parker best do a little bit more learning when arriving back at the drawing board, because he his gonna need his A Game to give him a chance of getting the W... I like Parker a hell of a lot, he has some admiral attributes as both a fighter and as a man outside of the Ring... Joseph Parker is also considerably younger and will definitely need the Win more than Dereck, who at 37 years of age, is on the downward slope of his Career, just looking for retirement ending paydays, which after 14 years graft to the Professional Boxing Game and after seeing the fights he has had and who he has shared a Ring with, he deserves to be truthful to you... I however would love to see an all out War between the two, arguably fighting for continued progress in their careers and as a Brit, I would love for Dereck to pull off the Victory and a Stoppage one by KO would be especially sweet... Very much a 50/50 battle if Joseph Parker elected to simply Box for the majority of Rounds, but something tells me at the onset of such a bout being made, that the pain of losing to Oleksandr Usyk by a marginal points decision in his last bout, will create the hunger and desire in WAR Chisora for him to somehow land the lights out shot, like he did to Carlos Takam a few years ago in July 2018...Let's make the fight Eddie 🤔🧐🤑🥊👊👊🥊👍

Joseph Parker is starting to slow down considerably in his fights after Rounds 6 - 7 these days, when fighting stiff, World level competition and I don't see Joseph being able to KO/TKO Dereck inside the first 6 Rounds, as it took Joseph 10 to get a much faded Alex Leapai out of there a few years ago. Therefore, Dereck won't be overly concerned by the power Joseph possess', especially coupled with the fact that Joseph is considered to be a small Heavyweight, even at 6ft 3/ 6ft 4... A perfect opponent for late onslaught TKO / KO Stoppage then in favour of Dereck 'War' Chisora, unless Joseph was to bring his Running Shoes for down the stretch... 🤔🧐🤑👊🥊👍
