Good replacement. Edwards deserves better than Muhammad, but that's still a big step up from the Chimaev fight, wich was a farce. Chimaev is a talented prospect for sure, but at 3 - 0 in the UFC his level of competition is just mediocre at this point, and he should be facing the likes of Magny, Lawler, Jingliang or Ponzinibbio at best, not the top of the division. Edwards vs Thompson would have made sense if Wonderboy wasn't injured, or interesting matchups vs Covington or Chiesa. Anyway, this is a good coherant fight, and I expect Edwards to win a competitive but clear decision against a game but outguned Belal. Should be pretty fun to watch, because Belal likes to pressure a lot.
Cirkunov vs. Spann
Misha Cirkunov, SUB, R1
I jumped out the Cirkunov train after he was ko'd by Volkan Oezdemir, Teixeira and Walker (and a submission win over Patrick Cummings didn't proved anything), but he really impressed me against Crute, who is a very good and well rounded prospect. His chin isn't good, but after all, Volkan Oezdemir, Teixeira and Walker all hits very hard. Cirkunov is so dangerous on the ground, if he can survive a few scares here, he should be able to get a takedown and finish the fight.
Ige vs. Tucker

Interesting. I wonder who they gonna give to Swanson now that Tucker is stepping in to fight Ige. It better be a fun fight, because Swanson deserves better than that at this point : Barboza would be so fun to watch, or a rematch vs Stephens. Hell even someone inconsistant but fun to watch like Cacerès would make sense. Is Chinese fighter Guan still in the UFC by the way ? Haven't heard of him in quite a while.

I’m in the minority just hear me out. Belal is a perfect matchup for a guy like Leon because his pressure, boxing and wrestling abilities sided with his cardio will be a nightmare for Edwards. Edwards and Belal are both very well rounded athletes and I can’t wait to see them go head to head. Leon has a nasty left elbow paired with fluent striking, good clinch and good wrestling. I just think Belal will present more.
Anders vs. Stewart

Stewart and Anders both aren’t very good but one is clearly better than the other and that is Darren. Anders seems like he knows how to do two things. Knock people out and do a little bit of wrestling. Other than that he doesn’t have much else. Darren has a good guillotine with average striking and good wrestling with nice GNP.
Rothwell vs. Lins

UFC showing shade to Rothwell. Lins is 0-2 in the UFC fighting Ben Rothwell. I know Ben isn’t the best guy out there but he just lost to a guy in the top 15 and he’s won a lot recently. I expect Ben to win a clear decision and show the UFC *** is wrong with their matchmaking. Lins should be fighting another 0-2 can not Big Ben.
Ige vs. Tucker

Interesting fight. Tucker is really good at overwhelming people and just beating people up and taking them down over and over like the Billy Q fight. Ige is also a talented boxer with great ground abilities and has a good rear naked choke with a win over Edson Barboza and a competitive fight with Calvin Kattar. I say Ige takes home a close decision but you can never be sure. Better than the Hall fight.
