Nicolau vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R1
Nicolau has a pretty decent chance of winning. Kape should win here tho. Lets just hope Kape isn't a letdown like his last fight.

Hill vs. Yoder II
Angela Hill, DEC
Honestly I won't be surprised if Yoder wins. Judges have hated Hill in her recent fights. Casey, Gadelha, Waterson, I can't count them all.

Yahya vs. Rodriguez
Rani Yahya, SUB, R2
Rani Yahya is such a gifted wrestler that I don't see a lot of people stopping him. Rodriguez just got subbed and they re now putting him against a guy like Rani Yahya. It's like the UFC just feeds people who just got submitted to wrestlers. It's crazy. Same thing with TJ Laramie vs Damon Jackson. Laramie got subbed by Minner, and now they're putting him against such a good grappler like Damon Jackson. It's honestly sad. Yahya gets an easy W here.

Edwards vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, DEC
This fight is probably gonna be a wrestlefest. There's gonna be a 50-45 decision no matter which way it goes. I'm going Belal. Edward's long layoff will give him the advantage but Belal has been so good recently.

Cirkunov vs. Spann
Misha Cirkunov, DEC
This fight is a little too hyped but it's still good. I think Cirkunov will be able to pull it off. Ryan Spann is bum factor. Dude messed up BAD against Johnny Walker (I picked Spann for that fight too so RIP). Cirkunov should get a pretty lopsided decision.

Ige vs. Tucker
Dan Ige, DEC
Such a good fight right here. Ige should win because Gavin Tucker's only loss to Glenn was SO DOMINANT. Ige didn't get dominated in the Kattar fight. He also has experience advantage.

Martinez vs. Grant
Jonathan Martinez, TKO, R1
I haven't watched Jonathan Martinez, but I know he beat Almeida, and that's the thing that sells me. Martinez better not let us down.

Martinez vs. Grant
Jonathan Martinez, DEC
Martinez is 9 years younger than Grant, yet he has just as many career and UFC fights as Grant. Therefore Martinez has been the more active fighter recently. This is shaping up to be a striker vs grappler matchup as Martinez path to victory will be to keep the fight standing and Grant's path to victory is to get this fight to the ground. Grant has been more of a finisher over his career but neither of these guys boasts a UFC finish rate of over 50% so this fight going the distance appears at least on paper seems to be a safe bet. Martinez is just as accurate a striker as Grant but has shown more power thus far. Grant averages around 2.5 TD's per 15 minutes and Martinez has been taken down 1.41 times per 15 minutes thus far so it looks like that would be the safest path to victory for Grant. I think this fight is closer than the sportsbooks have it currently, I wont be laying the juice here on Martinez but I am still going to pick him to win by decision.

Nicolau vs. Kape
Matheus Nicolau, DEC
I am not touching this fight with a ten foot pole from a betting standpoint. Its hard to know how Nicolau will look after 2 and a half years away from the UFC and Kape was so low volume in his first UFC performance against Pantoja I am having a hard time finding reasons to back either of these guys here. Kape hits hard and mixes in his wrestling pretty well and Nicolau seems to be very good everywhere. I will have to lean Nicolau here because even though I see Kape having a slight power advantage I cant count on him to throw enough volume to be sure he can outpoint a good all around fighter like Nicolau. Kape's path to victory is a KO and NIcolau's only 2 losses by finish were due to KO so that is certainly a possibility but I am going to pick Nicolau by close decision where his volume makes the difference.

Anders vs. Stewart
Darren Stewart, DEC
I swill keep this short but sweet. I have been so much more impressed by Stewart lately than I have with Anders. Stewarts career trajectory is going up and Anders is headed in the opposite direction. The wear and tear of Anders college football career and the life changing beatings he took from Santos and Rountree seem to be wearing him down and making him less dangerous. Both of these guys are far too tough to be finished it seems so Steward by decision is the pick.

Hill vs. Yoder II
Angela Hill, DEC
Hill by decision unless Yoder can get this to the ground and KEEP it there. Hill's TD defense has been really solid against better opponents than Yoder so I'm picking Hill to win by decision. I think Hill by decision at -200 is a decent parlay piece even though this fight will probably be close.

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 480 Points   |   Tied for 875th

Edwards vs. Muhammad
Leon Edwards, DEC
I think that Muhammad having his last fight very recently and the fact that he was willing to take this fight so soon afterwards suggests that he feels in good form and has the confidence to win. I think that even with these perceived advantages, he's still going to come up short against Edwards who is a better fighter but I'd expect this to be a tough fight for both of them. FOTN

Cirkunov vs. Spann
Misha Cirkunov, SUB, R2
Cirkunov is a better fighter on that mat and the only thing I'm questioning is what round he will submit Spann in

Ige vs. Tucker
Dan Ige, DEC
This is the closest fight on the card but it's going the distance 100%

Martinez vs. Grant
Jonathan Martinez, TKO, R2
I think Martinez is capable of putting Grant's lights out and will take this opportunity to make a name for himself

Nicolau vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R1
Nicolau's best chance will be to try tire Kape out early on and win a decision by capitalising on his fatigue but Kape can hit like a truck and I expect that he see's Nicolau as just another highlight reel KO victim

Anders vs. Stewart
Darren Stewart, DEC
I'm scared of the dentist but will Anders be? Tune in to find out!

Hill vs. Yoder II
Angela Hill, DEC
This should be a simple win for Hill as long as she doesn't get done over by the judges again

Jourdain vs. Rojo
Charles Jourdain, TKO, R1
This is a harsh welcome to the UFC for Rojo

Yahya vs. Rodriguez
Rani Yahya, SUB, R2
I'm simply left questioning what round Yahya will submit Rodriguez in just like the Cirkunov-Spann fight

Haqparast vs. García
Nasrat Haqparast, TKO, R1
Fair play to Garcia for taking this at short notice but he's bitten off way more than he can chew here

Casey vs. Aldrich
JJ Aldrich, DEC
This is perhaps the only other fight in tonight's event that can rival the closeness of the Ige-Tucker and Edwards-Muhammad fights

Yu Frey vs. de Paula
Gloria de Paula, SUB, R2
I've got a feeling there will be a surprise submission from De Paula

Witt vs. Semelsberger
Matt Semelsberger, TKO, R2
This is the one that I'm the most unsure of but Semelsberger looked good at the weigh ins so I'll pick him here

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 455 Points   |   Tied for 1217th

Jourdain vs. Rojo
Charles Jourdain, SUB, R3
This is gonna be a banger. I cant wait for this fight, two all action fighters with slick striking who are big time finishers. Even though 3 or Jourdains 4 UFC fights have gone to decision he has finished almost 90% of his wins. Rojo is no slouch in that area either and of Rojo's 4 losses by finish all have come by submission and Jourdain is a brown belt. That sub prop of +500 or more is a cheeky way to play this fight in your Uncle Weezy's opinion. I am going to pick Jourdain to win by a 3rd round sub after he drops Rojo with a cheeky kick. That being said I wont be mad at Marcelo if he pulls off the upset here. I'd love to see that veloci-raptor celebration be done for the first time in UFC history.

Yahya vs. Rodriguez
Rani Yahya, SUB, R1
If you take a close look at Yahya's UFC career you'll see an impressive record, with plenty of wins over questionable UFC competition. Ray Rodriguez is the dictionary definition of questionable UFC competition. The Judge was submitted recently by UFC veteran Chris Gutierrez, if Chris can submit Ray, you bet your ass Rani can submit him. Add to the fact that Ray's TD defense is sub par there is a very clear path to victory for Yahya here hence the -305 ML. I'm picking Rani by 1st round sub, however, if you want to fade Rani's questionable gas tank and you think Ray can survive the first, why not hedge your Rani bet with betting Rodriguez to win in the 3rd at +1400? A little hedging tip from your Uncle Weezy.

Haqparast vs. García
Nasrat Haqparast, TKO, R2
Rafa Garcia is undefeated, has a good ground game and has fought some UFC castoffs with success. That being said, fighting Haqparast on 4 days notice is a HUGE ask for Rafa on his UFC debut. I'm not going to overthink this one. I'm picking Haqparast by 2nd round KO.

Casey vs. Aldrich
JJ Aldrich, DEC
I'm passing from a betting standpoint, however, FGTD is a pretty safe parlay piece seeing as neither of these girls has much power on the feet and this fight isnt really likely to hit the ground. -400 is pretty steep though so I am going to pass and maybe walk the dog during this one. Aldrich by decision?

Yu Frey vs. de Paula
Gloria de Paula, TKO, R2
I'm pretty high on dePaula here. I have her in a parlay at -200 and I even have her to win ITD in another, far more cheeky parlay that I put a sprinkle on. Gloria is way better on the feet, she throws with WAY more volume and diversity of strikes, she's longer, bigger and uses more weapons from range. Her jiu jitsu is good enough to threaten with submissions should Frey try to get this to the ground. Even if Frey doesnt like how its going on the feet and she does try to take it to the ground I dont see any guarantee she can get it there seeing as dePaula is bigger and stronger. I'm going with the younger fighter here and I'm going out on a bit of a limb and saying she finishes the fight.

Witt vs. Semelsberger
Jason Witt, SUB, R2
Classic striker vs grappler. Both guys have a clear path to victory and I think there is no way this one sees the scorecards. The most likely scenario is Witt rag-dolls Semi and finishes this fight on the ground with a RNC. Witt fights out of Glory MMA and I have no doubt the game plan James Krause is going to give Witt is to not **** around and get this fight to the mat immediately. If Witt is unsuccessful in doing that I think Matt knocks out the notoriously chinny Witt easily. I have 1 unit of FDGTD at -108. I'm picking Witt by second round RNC but I think the best bet here is FDGTD. Thanks for reading and good luck to all you degenerate gamblers out there!

Interesting Statistic, In WMMA the +200 or more fighter is 4-1 in 2021 with Davis, Rodriguez, Kuniskiya, and Melo winning with the only loss being Megan Anderson to Nunes. So a bet on Yoder at +310 is not dumb, Hill is 12-9 so she can easily loss,

Uppity New Predictions

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 2262nd

Ige vs. Tucker
I finger Dan Ige at -150. He has a ultimate double leg flapjack. Ige could sabotage the dark horse.

Yahya vs. Rodriguez
I have got Rani Yahya at -305. He has a nasty butterfly sweep. Yahya must highlight the bandit.

Haqparast vs. García
I feel disposed to Nasrat Haqparast at -560. He has an excellent facebuster and a brilliant touch of death. Haqparast won't scramble the cutman.

Hill vs. Yoder II
I am sniffing Angela Hill at -380. She has a tasty dim mak and a wondrous Samoan driver. Hill will blend the TV audience.

Martinez vs. Grant
I am sticking with Jonathan Martinez at -320. He has a militant scissors sweep. Martinez can modulate the natural order.

Cirkunov vs. Spann
I believe in Misha Cirkunov at -140. He has a captivating overhand. Cirkunov won't locate the senses.

Casey vs. Aldrich
I am with JJ Aldrich at -150. She has a hypersonic guillotine. Aldrich might capture the deed.

Jourdain vs. Rojo
I am sticking with Charles Jourdain at -250. He has a brash hammerlock. Jourdain isn't about to vaccinate the victory. Obey my dog!

Edwards vs. Muhammad
I favor Leon Edwards at -265. He has an excellent double wrist lock. Edwards isn't about to blast the achievement.

Anders vs. Stewart
I can't get enough of Darren Stewart at -185. He has a yellow-bellied side kick to the throat. Stewart is gonna blast the adversary.

Yu Frey vs. de Paula
I prefer Gloria de Paula at -190. She has a yappy gogoplata. de Paula ought to fuel the cutman.

Yeah.... Nasrat takes this one. Gotta give props for Rafa having the mexican heart.
