Yoel Romero's UFC run has come to an unexpected end.



Romero and the promotion have parted ways, multiple sources told ESPN. Romero's manager Malki Kawa also confirmed he is no longer under contract with the UFC.



According to sources, Romero had three fights left on his deal.

Yoel is 43 and lets be honest, his last couple fights SUCKED. UFC saw the writing on the wall and cut ties with a probable diminishing product.

Rumors indicate that he may receive an offer from Khabib to fight in his new EFC promotion and the AMC Fight Nights League has officially announced that it is in talks to sign Yoel Romero, who is a free agent. And Magomed Ismailov, after the fight with Ivan Shtyrkov, would very much like to meet with the eminent Cuban.

@cd, His last fight suck admently, But the last 2 before that were fight of the year or pretty high up they're. And before that he has 2 beautul Knock out of the year conteder sandwhich between a great fight betwenn Bobby Knuckles. I hate MMA fan have such short term memory. It so true what someone said about you are only as good as your last fight because MMA fan have memory of an Alshamer goldfish
