Predictions: 5 of 6 Winners, 0 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 2637th

Alves vs. Lazzez
Mounir Lazzez
I don't want to discount Alves too much, but I really love Lazzez's striking style. Great thai elbow strikes.

Murphy vs. Andrade
Lerone Murphy
If Lerone can stick and move I think this is a done deal. Andrade doesn't look like he has the speed on the feet or in the hands to match Lerone Murphy.

Simón vs. Pirrello
Ricky Simón
I feel bad for Pirrello here. This is a big step up and Ricky Simon has been looking pretty good.

Mudaerji vs. Adashev
Su Mudaerji
Adashev's MMA record is full of busters.

@cageside Only if Magny get it his way because honesly never seen Magny did anything intresting or spectular in any of his win or beat anyone great. I didn't watch pass the 2nd round in his last few fight because I was bored. Honesly hope Chesa wins because atlest he some what fun to watch

Edit: I ment in they're prime because all Magny big wins is a past prime Lawler, Condit and Hendrix in boring decsion,

Chiesa vs. Magny
Michael Chiesa, SUB, R2
This fight is really close, but something tells me Chiesa can get Magny's back. Magny has had the luxery of fighting guys trying to knock him out (excluding Rocco, but Chiesa is better than him) and hasn't had to deal with a grappler/wrestler since RDA.

@Damien Magny can be boring at times, I agree but his style can be summed up as boring but effective. He wasn't spectacular against Li, Rocco Martin or Lawler but there's no doubt that he was in control of all 3 of those fights. Rocco Martin in particular is a great on the canvas much like Chiesa and I can see Magny controlling this fight like he did against Rocco Martin.

Can we all agree that Magny is boring as hell? Other then the Lombard fight I've never really enjoyed his style. You know this guy doesn't come for war, he comes to out point you. Journeyman, Chiesa actually has serious finishing ability.

Magny is not gonna out muscle him, if anything the Marathon man will do just that, run a Marathon and out point Chiesa. I surely hope it does not happen, Chiesa finishes fights and Magny just... boring.

Leonardo vs. Fiorot
Manon Fiorot, TKO, R1
I've seen Leonardo knocked out in Invicta and wobbled against Hackett. To me it seems like she's a soccer mom who happens to be into BJJ, meanwhile Fiorot is a dangerous and aggressive striker for the flyweight division and is going to come out swinging. Fiorot by rd 1 tko or Leonardo by lay and pray.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 375 Points   |   Tied for 2373rd

Chiesa vs. Magny
Michael Chiesa, SUB, R3
tossup for me really, but i guess i feel like magny doesn't have the pop to really punish chiesa for pressuring and that's gonna result in td attempts against the cage.

Alves vs. Lazzez
Mounir Lazzez, TKO, R2
warlley will have his moments of explosion, but i'm expecting lazzez to really announce himself in the division with his technical approach.

Villanueva vs. Moreira
Vinicius Moreira, SUB, R1
why is this billed so high? this should literally be the first fight of the night. i'll say ike gets taken down.

Modafferi vs. Araujo
Roxanne Modafferi, DEC
roxy underdog? i'm in. for real though i don't see why she couldn't win this fight. this girl isn't like some prolific finisher so that means decision and roxy is in every one of those.

Nam vs. Schnell
Tyson Nam, TKO, R2
schnell has a lot of heart but leaves himself open and i think is gonna get desperate to shoot. thinking tyson can defend though and keep it a boxing match.

Murphy vs. Andrade
Lerone Murphy, DEC
bit of a prospect test here and i think murphy passes while getting valuable cagetime in the process.

Akhmedov vs. Breese
Tom Breese, TKO, R2
tough call, but i'm gonna take breese to stay sharp and find a finish.

Simón vs. Pirrello
Ricky Simón, DEC
maybe pirrello surprises us, but simon is gonna be too much for most of the division just in terms of pace.

Mudaerji vs. Adashev
Su Mudaerji, TKO, R1
experience mismatch, but adashev is supposed to be a solid striker so i won't be surprised if it's less one sided than expected.

Lungiambula vs. Perez
Markus Perez, SUB, R2
i'm gonna flip on this one and say perez takes him down.

Rivera vs. Figueiredo
Francisco Figueiredo, TKO, R1
feels set up to be a showcase for fig's brother.

Davis vs. Jones
Mike Davis, TKO, R2
jones seems to have some hype, but there's something to be said about davis' only 2 losses coming to yusuff and burns.

Nurmagomedov vs. Morozov
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
i don't think morozov is as big a dog as the odds would make it seem, but i must admit it's hard to pick against a nurmagomedov.

Leonardo vs. Fiorot
Victoria Leonardo, DEC
fiorot's opponents aren't really up to par so i think leondardo can work an inside game

Alvez submitted Covington at the start at their career. Lazzez has the striking advantage.

Chiesa vs. Magny
Neil Magny, DEC
Ugh. If this was a main card bout with 3 rounds, I'd totally would be on Chiesa. But we have 5.... I see Magny running away with the decision.

Alves vs. Lazzez
Mounir Lazzez, TKO, R2
Mmmm. Mounir. He impressed me with how he handled Al Hassan. Alves is no where near as dangerous on the feet, and he's been really inactive. Time for the Abu Dhabi boy to shine.

Murphy vs. Andrade
Lerone Murphy, DEC
Eeeeh. Murphy. I just don

Akhmedov vs. Breese
Omari Akhmedov, DEC
....Okay, so maybe Tom shows up and it'll be a breeze, but can he handle the wrestling?

Yeah..... good luck schnell.

Simón vs. Pirrello
Ricky Simón, DEC
if ricky is smart this is his.

Mudaerji vs. Adashev
Su Mudaerji, DEC
It could be a striking beatdown or MMA clinic from Mudaerji. I'll take the clinic.

Lungiambula vs. Perez
Markus Perez, DEC
Leaning towards Perez.... But man. What a disaster of a matchup. Probably one of the only times in my life I'll never get a read on.

Rivera vs. Figueiredo
Francisco Figueiredo, DEC
I see Francisco doing well here, but I don't see him becoming his older brother. Nope.

Davis vs. Jones
Mason Jones, DEC
Hmmm. Jones appears to be a go-getter, but Davis brings some striking. I dunno.
