Tuivasa vs. Mayes
Tai Tuivasa, TKO, R1
Tuivasa is kind of disapointing. After he destroyed the always tough Rashad Coulter with a FLYING KNEE (!!!) and the very durable and well rounded French Cyril Asker with an insane barrage of elbows, he won a close decision over the old fox Arlovski (wich isn't that easy to do), and seemed promised to reach at least the top 5... But both his chin and his ground game looked bad in the 3 next outings, and he had a hard time finishing Struve, wich is amazing in 2021... He can be exciting and has potential, but he really needs to improve his ground game and takedown defense or he's never going to be anything other than a gatekeeper at this point.

A HARD time finishing struve?!?! He KO'd him in the first round I dont know how you consider that a hard time and regardless of how much of a "hard time" you say he had with struve Don tale mayes doesnt even belong in the ufc and they pretty much fed him to bam bam and will be cut. I agree his career looked much more promising but he isnt that type of fighter he just wants to bang with you stand and brawl. He's said it before. But to say he had a hard time finishing struve is a little overboard buddy

Du Plessis may have beat Perez, but he looked terrible and got so lucky with that knock out. I will die on that hill dammit!

Gillespie vs. Riddell
Gregor Gillespie, DEC
Riddell is improving from fight to fight, and Gillespie's chin can be crack, so it's a very interesting test to both. Can Gillespie be more than a gatekeeper to the top 15, and can Riddell really become a top 10 action fighter ?

Eduardo vs. Birchak
Anthony Birchak, DEC
Jesus Christ, Eduardo was so talented, but how old is he now ?

Can't belive 85% of people are picking Holland.Brunson only losses to champiship level and Holland ain't champiship level. His win streak is not super impresive 3 give me wins , an 40 year old and his fight with Darren Stewart where he could of lost the decsion And if it was a 5 rounder he would of been finish fo sho. People need to start respecting Brunson, He a good fighter sometimes. Its a real 50 50 fight

Brunson vs. Holland
Derek Brunson, TKO, R4
People should put some respect on Derek. He is talented on the feet and mat. His only losses are to championship level people. And he destroyed Ian and Edmen and people counted him out in those fights. Kevin has pretty bad takedown defense and not amazing cardio. He fades if he can’t finish you early on. Hence the Stewart fight. Derek will get hurt early by Kevin since Kevin is the better striker, but he will weather the storm and finish an exhausted Holland with gnp in the 4th.

Griffin vs. Song
Max Griffin, DEC
Pretty fun fight. Picking Max. What he did to Balraj was nasty af.

Hill vs. Craig
Paul Craig, SUB, R2
Craig is going to surprise a lot of people. Don’t count him out. Hill is a threat but he’s too trigger happy. Craig will find a way. That guy knows how to win.

Tuivasa vs. Mayes
Tai Tuivasa, DEC
This can either be an exciting first round knockout or a staring at each other fest. Same with lots of other heavyweights. I pick the latter but I say Tai gets the ugly better of it. With dirty boxing in the clinch and more striking activity.

Gillespie vs. Riddell
Gregor Gillespie, DEC
I’m not going to count Gregor out. He’s a great fighter and a phenomenal wrestler. Riddel seemed to get taken down a few times last time I saw him also

Macy Chiasson, DEC
No thanks. Macy by I don’t give a **** decision

Yanez vs. Lopez
Adrian Yanez, TKO, R1
In my eyes Lopez is just another victim to build this hype train up.

Buys vs. Hansen
Kay Hansen
Buys is actually who I think will win. I just hope Hansen gets it done. Hope Hansen makes her have a seat. Only certain people will understand.

I like Holland too. Brunson might have the better striking and grappling. But Holland is really crafty and makes **** happen during the fight. The biggest thing i am worried about is his cardio amd Brunson taking later rounds. See a better conditioned Brunson stealing this fight if Holland dont get a finish

Predictions: 6 of 9 Winners, 0 Perfect, 315 Points   |   Tied for 2367th

@Fergboy ...I think you have Brunson vs Holland so so backward. Brunson is talented on his feet? No... no he is not... Kevin has bad takedown defense? I don't know that to be true, but even if it is, it would likely be because he is a high level BJJ black belt under Travis Lutter and isn't concerned if the fight goes there.

Holland is better everywhere. Easy money$

Brunson vs. Holland
Derek Brunson, TKO, R3
I gotta feelin Bumson gonna put ona similar performance as he did vs Shabazyan. Maybe eat some shots early but eventually wrestling will take over, I keep remembering the 3rd round of Holland vs Darren Stewart. If Stewart can do that Brunson sure can!

Hill vs. Craig
Jamahal Hill, TKO, R2
Craig posted on IG that this fight is off, think its being rescheduled for a couple weeks?

Tuivasa vs. Mayes
Tai Tuivasa, DEC
Why does Mayes look he about to Bust a Nut!!!??? Please can I, or someone change that profile pic? It creeps me out!

I kind of feel the same, it's a tough one, derecks wrestling had improved and was dominant against shabazyan, he could definitely do the same to Holland, that's if he gets a chance to is another question

Dricus Du Plessis becomes the second South African after Don Madge to have visa issues prevent him from fighting this month. Depressing time to be a South African MMA fan, we were picking up steam, hopefully they get opportunities to fight more than once this year, the inactivity is destroying careers at this point.
