Next for Paul Craig?

Craig earned the #14 Light Heavyweight spot this week in the newest rankings.

Who should he fight next?

Maybe:

1. Volkan Oezdemir (#6) - coming off a loss to Jiri, can Volkan hang? He should eat up Bear Jew on the feet, and I think he can. This should be Volkan's bounce back fight, and Craig's shot up the rankings.


2. Krylov (#8) - Who is the better grappler? This fight could be the "match of the grapplers" ... a next step for both guys and another opportunity for Craig to move into rarer air towards the top of the division.


3. Walker (#9) - Johnny Walker is a high profile fighter and I dont think the UFC will waste a fight with him on Paul Craig. Walker will most likely be paired with either a big name or a decorated Striker to make the fight exciting fireworks. Someone like Ankalaev (#11) is who I think Walker will be paired with next.

Let's be honest, Shogun looked like an old man vs. another old man in the Lil Nog fight, I believe he should have retired after that.

Not an impressive win at all, but rather a win over a man who is done well past his time. A sad win, similar to Hall beating Silva. 

I believe all three men you named beat him, and I agree with you that Oezdemir would be his best option right now. Walker would smoke him in the first, Krylov has improved his game drastically, and would smash him. 

SO, I'd say Oezdemir makes sense.

Johnny walker DL sucks, him vs Craig would be good, two borderline top 15 guys

Frontkick, yeah I like Oezdemir. I'm not too high on either fighter so the hype on this fight is equally low on both sides....its a good balance.

This fight could main card either a Fight Night or open the main card for a PPV
