Just to clarify, I make my picks before joining a thread so that my picks are my own and aren't influenced by other people, hence why I didn't notice all of @Mikey1903's previous posts. I saw the highlights of Teixeira VS Adames after it first happened but the other videos look cool and I'll certainly check them out!

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 445 Points   |   19th Place

Negrete vs. Rios
Oscar Negrete, DEC
The 3rd 50/50 fight on 1 card!?!?!?!?! Tough to call this 1.

Melikuziev vs. Fitch
Bektemir Melikuziev, TKO, R2
Maybe the best fighter in the world with less than 8 fights. A DESTROYER!!!!!!!! Sergey Kovalev is a lucky man!

Julio vs. Abduraimov
Elnur Abduraimov, TKO, R1
I see Uzbek I pick! Not sure if this fight is actually happening? 1 of those where I have to wait until weigh ins to find out for sure!

Olivas vs. Mosley Jr.
Cristian Olivas, DEC
Another case of the son of a Hall of Fame boxer not being able to get out from under his father's shadow. Definitely a good chance for Olivas to cause an upset, a minor upset really

Hovhannisyan vs. Bernache
Azat Hovhannisyan, TKO, R2
Azat better protect his balls and his face. Bernache loves a Headbutt and has been deducted points for persistent low blows. I think Azat gets rid of him quickly to avoid all that

Weigh in drama!!!

Predictions: 7 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 445 Points   |   19th Place

Jo Jo Diaz lost his title on the scales!! He weighed in 4lbs over the limit and never tried to re weigh an hour later.
Diaz has been stripped of his Title, only Rakhimov can win the belt.  I am even more confident in Shavkat now!!!!!

Also, for all you guys picking Teixeira, if you're confident then u can give the Bookies a Beating!!!! Teixeira can be had at 6 to 1 with some books!!!!! Someone must have laid big cash on Castano because there's been a 200 point move in the last day!!!
I still think its a close fight, the odds are way to wide for me, tho I have to admit that I am taking Castano! But I am not as confident as the Bookies are

@Mikey1903

About the main event. What belt was it that was on the line and should Diaz win, would the belt be vacant?

I write the belt name above the fight bud.  Its the IBF World Super Featherweight Title, an actual proper, legitimate World Title! (No Gold, Regular, Silver ********!)

And yes, the belt is only available for Rakhimov
If Diaz wins it stays vacant.

Bit of a problem for Diaz. This is the 2nd time he has lost a World Title on the scales! Only the 1st time was in the weight class below!!!!  Not a good sign moving up, winning another World Title only to lose it again on the scales!!!! How bad is that!!!!

Hope Shavkat punishes him for it!!!!  Although sometimes guys who don't make weight can go into the fight with an advantage because they haven't drained themselves cutting that final few lbs, always the hardest!

@Mikey1903

Thanks, I hadn't noticed that the belt was listed above the fight lol! As for the weight cutting, I'm not really a fan of fighters moving up and down the weight classes as there's always that risk that they won't make weight not to mention the bad health effects of a bad weight cut as well.

Yeah, just pointing that out for you, I list every belt. Well to a certain extent because it'd be never ****** ending if I listed everything!!! But obviously WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO are listed plus all National, Continental titles (some countries are worth more than others for some reason?)

Anyway, yeah the weight cutting thing is an issue in boxing too. Though I do believe MMA guys cut much more weight. But I think younger boxers are seeing UFC guys cutting 20-30lbs and following suit. For example Teofimo Lopez (only 22) weighed 135lbs on the scales vs Lomachenko. On fight night he was easily 160lbs!

But about JOJO Diaz, the guy who missed and lost his title last night. He can't use that excuse, he's already moved up in weight!!

@Mikey1903

Then maybe Diaz should be fighting at an even higher weight? He should just accept that not everyone can move across weight classes at will like Manny Pacquiao and that's OK. I have absolutely no problem with boxers finding their "natural" weight class and sticking to it.

Even before I heard about this, I had Rakhimov to win by 8th round KO/TKO. I'm not so confident about the KO part of it anymore but I'll stick with that pick regardless.

Yappy New Predictions

Predictions: 3 of 4 Winners, 2 Perfect, 200 Points   |   Tied for 87th

Melikuziev vs. Fitch
I am obsessed with Bektemir Melikuziev at -10000. He has a proficient double leg. Melikuziev is about to choke the senses.

Diaz vs. Rakhimov
I feel disposed to Joseph Diaz at -165. He has a homemade diet. Diaz must mislead the rival.

Negrete vs. Rios
I have a crush on Ronny Rios at -220. He has a quintessential suplex. Rios should drop the chosen one.

Teixeira vs. Castano
I tap Brian Carlos Castano at -600. He has a ruthless diet. Castano won't realign the adversary.

I was thinking about @Oddsbot and I've got an idea. @Oddsbot only picks the favourites so wouldn't it be cool if we gave him a rival bot who only picked underdogs called @Dogsbot or something! Should I tell @Gregory about this idea?
