Predictions: 7 of 9 Winners, 3 Perfect, 475 Points | 88th Place
Luke Campbell, TKO, R10
I was gonna write a big breakdown for this fight, I actually did write 4 paragraphs then deleted it!!!! I replaced it with this simple statement. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!
Alvarado vs. Gutierrez
Roger Gutierrez, TKO, R3
Although I agree Alvarado should be favourite, he's on a decent win streak and is the Champ. But, he became the Champ in a big upset and, I mean 8 people figured out a way to beat Alvarado already. Why not a 9th? Also, Gutierrez can Bang BRO!
Alvarado vs. Kriel
DeeJay Kriel, DEC
Man, I'm pretty sure I am going to look Dumb AF picking 3 dogs on a boxing card!!! I don't know tho, like his brother (yes Fisty they are brothers!) I ain't convinced with Alvarado, not 4 to 1 convinced ANYWAYS! Also the little guys in boxing are super evenly matched and belts change hands a lot. Kriel is a former IBF World champion himself (at the weight below, he also has the benefit of sparring, training with South Africa's 2 other Flyweight World champs Hekkie Budler and Moruti Mthalane! Yeah, I'm either going to look like a Genius or a dumb ass!!!!
Garcia vs. Marquez
Sean Garcia, DEC
Sean is Ryan's little brother, also more of a social media star than actual fighter. SUPER tempted to pick him to lose!!!! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!!
Bonilla vs. Stevens
Francisco Bonilla, DEC
Fun fact. Asa Stevens is Max Holloways cousin. Waianae in the HOUSE!!!!

Boxing odds
Predictions: 7 of 9 Winners, 3 Perfect, 475 Points | 88th Place
They are always very wide! It's a bit strange really. You'll get a close fight, say 60/40 but it's priced like it's 80/20!
Basically a - 300 favourite and a +450 dog is a close fight in boxing!
I think the Bookies take home cooking dodgy decisions into consideration. You usually have to dominate the Champ to take the title, which is ******** as a win should be a win. But, maybe that affects the odds too?
It can work out for you too though. You just have to know what challengers/underdogs to back. I am still gloating about my back to back underdog wins with Joe Joyce (+400) and Lyndon Arthur (+650). Also Teofimo Lopez was 4 to 1! I'm a bit gutted I never put some cash on Kazuto Ioka yesterday too! A rare Champion underdog
So you can beat the Bookies, sometimes!!!
I'm chucking a cheeky 10er on Luke Campbell at 4 to 1 this weekend.
But please don't take my advice on spending your money. I am wrong just as often!!!

Alvarado vs. Gutierrez
Predictions: 9 of 9 Winners, 4 Perfect, 590 Points | Tied for 6th with 1 other
According to Gutierrez, much has changed in his game over the past three years.
“I have developed; I’m stronger; I’m bigger, and I have more experience to face Alvarado,” he told The Ring.
Gutierrez is also riding high with confidence after scoring a massive upset victory over a previously undefeated prospect last July.
The 25-year-old Gutierrez, who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela, squared off against Rocky Hernandez, who entered the ring with a record of 28-0 with 25 knockouts, including 22 consecutive KO wins.
Gutierrez was bleeding from his mouth when he connected with a series of clubbing right hands to knockout Hernandez in the first round of their scheduled 10-round affair.
“I always have confidence in myself,” he explained. “With the Rocky fight, I went in there to win; I didn’t fight him for the money; I trained to win.
“The same goes for the rematch with Alvarado. I feel great and I will win. We’re training hard to win.”

The 2 boxing sites I visit the most are
https://www.badlefthook.com/
They break down the biggest fights. They have a couple breakdowns of tonights Garcia Campbell fight. They are also good for news
https://www.boxingscene.com/
This is my go to for news tho. Also they regularly have articles about prospects very young in their careers and top amateurs turning pro. Helps keep me up with what young boxers to keep an eye out for.
https://www.asianboxing.info/
This is the site for anything Asian boxing related. From Japanese, Korean, Thailand to allthe Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan,Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan). Its very helpful if you want to get the scoop because US and European sites barely cover Asian boxers and there is a tonne of talent there.
Hope those sites help

I don't wish to influence anyone with regards to where to put your money, or Not, if you do fancy a flutter, as sometimes you Win and sometimes you lose, like Mikey referenced above, but as a mere fact, Floyd Mayweather who was the master technician in a Boxing Ring for over a decade and still with the greatest record to this day, does not believe the Hype that Ryan Garcia has going for him and he has backed the Underdog, Brit, Luke Campbell and put an astonishing $1000000 on Campbell to Win this evening's bout...Granted, Mayweather Jr can afford to roll the dice and potentially lose that vast stake amount, but with all his credentials and achievements in the Ring, don't sleep on Luke Campbell Not being able to pull off the upset victory. He may even be worth an Underdog flutter...Ryan Garcia has never been 12 Rounds before, whereas Luke Campbell has more than once, including his loss to one of the current Pound 4 Pound greats in Lomachenko and Luke has never been Stopped in his 23 fight professional Boxing Career...He only just lost to Jorge Linares by a fraction 3 Years ago too... What I will say is if Garcia can pull off the Win it will make a huge statement, if he can stop Luke Campbell, it would be a massive statement to the whole division....Intriguing Fight to start the New Year 2021 🤔🥊👊🥇👍

What I'm relying on is Campbell getting out of the 1st half, Garcia becoming slower, predictable and frustrated and Campbell takes over late.
For all Garcias talent he had never fought a guy in the top 50. Campbell is top 5.
Maybe I'm wrong and Garcia is as good as the Hype suggests but I need to see it 1st.
Im sticking to my guns and backing all 3 underdogs in the main card!!!
I'm going to be a genius or a dumbass!!!
Fine line between the two!!!

If you weren't from the US I'd highly recommend getting a DAZN subscription. They just rolled out worldwide and its only £1.99 for a months subscription!!! That's fantastic considering I've already had the GGG and Canelo fights for my £2!
In the US I think the monthly subscription is $15? I know it is $100 for the year. I think it's worth it. But it's up to you mate. There are other ways to watch. I just like to be able to rely on actually having the app. The only subscriptions I have are DAZN, which is cheap as for now(I know the price will rise soon) and my BT Sport for all my UFC and some decent boxing too

I do have a cheeky £10er on Campbell tho which will turn into £40 if he wins.
I don't spend big bucks gambling bud. A 10er in usually my limit. I want to keep it fun. I have mates who have issues with the Bookies so I learned to keep a lid on it. It's just a bit of fun bud

Predictions: 9 of 9 Winners, 1 Perfect, 535 Points | 29th Place
I think Felix Alvarado will eventually have too much natural power, ability, conditioning and experience to beat Deejay Kriel...
I think Roger Gutierrez will put his past loss to Rene Alvarado behind him and find a way to stop his Champion opponent, who I feel has become a little too comfortable in recent times after watching footage of his recent fights....I think a firefight will ensue towards the Championship Rounds and Gutierrez who does carry power, will find a telling shot to reverse his past loss, in what could turn out to be a very good fight and potential FOTN...
I think Ryan Garcia will prove that the hype behind him is real and I think he will possibly stop Luke Campbell with a fast left hook and follow up, which may come after Luke gets off the floor....I really want Luke to Win as a fellow Brit, but due to the fact that Yvan Mendy dropped Luke with a left hook back when he lost to him in 2016, I just think that Ryan Garcia with Eddy Reynoso and Canelo's tutilege will be able to find, time and land the shot to hurt Luke and take the fight from him....Jorge Linares dropped Luke, Lomachenko dropped Luke and Garcia is very talented who carries speed, timing and power...I back the favourite, but good luck to Luke because I hope he can pull off the upset 🤔🥊👊👍
Really looking forward to this fightcard on DAZN this evening, it should be an excellent Boxing Event to mark the New Year in style 🥊👊👍
