Predictions: 9 of 15 Winners, 3 Perfect, 550 Points   |   Tied for 1859th

I dont think anyone is underrating Petr Yan, it is a clear the bloke is legit and a could be the best in the division right now but we dont know that because of the competition he has fought up to yet.... dont get me wrong he certainly deserves to be up their with the current best but its when you look at his notable wins in the UFC that lead him to his title shot, they are against John Dodson (now released), a 40 year old Faber (after coming back from retirement for nearly 3 years) and Jimmie Rivera (This one is obviously a good win in fairness) but to then get a title shot against a way past his prime Jose Aldo with a 0-2 record at bantamweight it just raises the question of just how good is he because he hasnt fought a lot of the dangerous guys in the division yet... in fact from the current top 15 at bantamweight he has only beat 2 of them (Rivera at number 9 and Aldo at number 5) He could answer a lot of those question this Saturday with the biggest win of his career if he beats Sterling. But until he has fought some bigger names i think question marks will always be around how good he really is in comparison to the elite.

I remember back when they announced aldo v yan , I saw a lot of people thought it should have been sterling v sandhagen for the title eliminator, I understand the doubt around yan, I just feel he is legit in my opinion

Uros Medic vs Aalon Cruz
Aalon Cruz, DEC

I am honestly surpirsed by all the Medic love. The guy has beaten no one but cans, fought on the Alaskan promotion (the worse track record), and has never had a fight extended into the later rounds. Medic has got some kicks, but people forget what Cruz did in his Contender Series fight against a really good opponent in Steve Nguyen. Watch some of Medics previous fights, he struggles on takedowns and spends a lot of energy to get to his feet. Cruz has attempted takedowns in last 2 fights and I see him using that as an avenue. Cruz will also have a sizeable reach advantage and will be moving up a weight class where he does not have to drain his body. The book makers opened him up a favorite over Medic and I think they were onto something here. I cannot pass up on the more experienced fighter here. Give me Cruz

Brady vs Matthews

Predictions: 9 of 15 Winners, 3 Perfect, 550 Points   |   Tied for 1859th

Who is in Brady hype train?

I think that this guy will be a top contender in this division in the future.
Wrestling,striking, movement,aggression, well rounded.
Of course Matthews is good, but he had some problems in his prevoius fights, for example he can't finish Diego Sanchez.
Brady also have better oponennts in lasy 3 fights( McGee,Naurdiev,Aguilera) in comperw with( Sanchez,Meek,Akman).
I really count on this guy

@Nicky I think its because he will automatically get dumped from the rankings after his LHW debut, so people are just reorganizing them in anticipation

Everyone is free to have their own opinion and picks,
but you have to be a dumbass to go for Aalon Cruz.
....even if Uros Medic is unproven and finds a way to lose

Predictions: 5 of 8 Winners, 0 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 4442nd

Santos vs. Rakić
Aleksandar Rakić, TKO, R2
If you have picked Santos in this fight, it is not based on his performance after double knee surgery. It is irrational to think someone past their prime with recent ACL surgery is going to beat Rakic. Rakic is known for leg kicks. This may be a disastrous for Santos. Santos had power to KO Rakic before, but it is gone now. Your power comes from your legs. He did not have his regular momentum in his last fight. Rakic is entering his prime and Santos is on his way out. Rakic by TKO.

Brady vs. Matthews
Sean Brady
Two fighters with similar height, reach, and age. However, Sean brady has faster hands, more significant strikes landed per minute and better significant strike accuracy. Brady has better takedown accuracy and a higher takedown average. Matthews has more submission wins than knockouts. However, Brady is a black belt in BJJ. Matthews does not possess anything special for Brady to be worried about. Brady will nullify Matthew’s grappling and have better striking to get a win. Brady will be in the top 15 soon. Brady by decision.

Predictions: 9 of 15 Winners, 4 Perfect, 615 Points   |   Tied for 889th

Błachowicz vs. Adesanya
Israel Adesanya, TKO, R2
I think the speed difference is going to be too much, just like it pretty much always is for Izzy's opponents. Jan will get picked apart until he falls down or a ref steps in

Nunes vs. Anderson
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R1
I always just feel bad for Nunes' opponents, but what are you gonna do?

Yan vs. Sterling
Petr Yan, TKO, R4
Yan's relentless, exacting, brutal style will eventually be enough to break Aljo, I think. I am concerned about a submission though, Sterling is crazy on the ground or as a backpack.

Makhachev vs. Dober
Islam Makhachev, DEC
Dober can knock out anyone, a bet on Islam isn't worth it at these odds

Cruz vs. Kenney
Casey Kenney, DEC
