Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R3
Best fight on the card. If you can’t catch any other fight make sure that you catch this one. I love Kape and he’s gonna go far in the ufc but Pantoja is taking his back early in the 3rd round.

@Card if this goes to decision then Overeem has it 100%. That being said I don't even give it a 10% chance of going to the judges!

Jeez Louise! I swear, just cut Montano already. I'd normally never advocate someone's firing, but this has gotten absolutely ridiculous. First the wolf tickets with Valentina, then she fails the drug test, then she pulls out against Macy Chiasson AND Julia Avila, and now she pulls out again for, "undisclosed reasons". She's friggin 4-3! I know she's technically a former champion, but that doesn't justify keeping her in spite of all of this.

They dont have to pay montano if she dont fight, so keeping her didint cost anything to the UFC. Maybe she will find a way to put is life togetter one day.

As for Jocelyne Edwards, thats a good move to had a second pay check in less then a month!

Fast turnaround for Joselyne, she didn't impress me as much as I thought she would. Should be a decent scrap though, I see Karol getting the split decision

Joselyne Edwards performed much better than I expected her to against Yanan Wu so I wouldn't be surprised if she can put in another great performance.

@Hyrm cancellations still cost the promotion money, even if they dont have to pay her show/win money she still costs the promotion in advertising, drug testing etc.

with Ngannou and Jones lined up for title shoot and both having recent lost to Curtis Blaydes, the winner her probably need 2 mores win after that fight if he want a title shoot.

Lol at Montano. 1 fight since '17 during which she has had 8 scheduled fights with 1 cancelled due to opponent. Girl is absolutely pathetic. Remember when she said the title fight weight miss and cancellation wasn't her fault and demanded they reschedule or some ****? I liked her on tuf but then her delusions and real personality. showed. I hope they get rid of her.

i'm with Terry here.
I'm confident La Pantera gets a finish, most likely by TKO in the first.
Yanan wu proved her grit and I don't think Karol Rosa has yet

Also i don't know what fight that modest man watched to not be impressed with her, she fights like a savage in every single one.

Great replacement. Poor Woo Choi, even on short notice, Zalal is really well rounded, a very tough fight for anyone outside the top 15.

I wonder on how long Overeem can keep this up.  He does not seem to be stopping in his fighting.  He has been fighting since 1999

Yeah about Overeem, it's quite amazing to be honest. I always watched his fights, but I wasn't a big fan of his ubereem days... He seemed like a ****y and arrogant steroïd user from planet Muscle****head.
But now that he's older, that he lost a few humbling times, and that he doesn't take steroïds anymore, he's much more likeable as a person.
Almost humble and respectful, quite intelligent when he speaks, (and amazingly his brain seems intact thus far) no more muscles and no more chin, but amazing technique, mountains of experience, cardio for days, and what a heart !

Being violently finished so many times (Bigfoot and Browne, Rothwell, Miocic, Ngannou and Blaydes, Rozenstruik), but coming back every time with some great meaningful wins (Frank Mir, Hunt, Arlovski, Dos Santos, Werdum, Oleinik, Pavlovich, Sakai, Harris...).
He now won 4 of his last 5, the one loss being a controversial last second stoppage of a 5 rounds fight he was dominating... If he can win against Volkov here, he sure deserves another shot at the belt. He had a very fun and competitive war against Miocic last time, so a rematch would make sense. A Jones fight would be fascinating, too. And if Ngannou is the the Champ by then, well, it's not like I can't see him surviving a few early scares to take the fight to the ground...

Rooting for him every time now, what a legend !
