Rodriguez vs. Marques
Danilo Marques, SUB, R2
I don't understand the Rodriguez hype train. Granted he had his last fight stolen from him but he should've been able to finish that fight again. Also his bjj defense was horrid and Marques is levels above Herman.

@killbot2000 first off, stop thinking your some betting messiah because your 0-1 on bets posted on tapology. Conor and Dustin going to decision was a really good bet wasn’t it. Second of all, stop saying 125 unit profit, without proof, because your are probley lying and 3rd no one care about betting around this parts

Isn't it kind of hilarious we're calling this guy soft and flabby? The comparison is nuts, but if you never saw Ubereem and only saw this guy you'd think this guy was the Incredible Hulk.

Predictions: 5 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 305 Points   |   Tied for 2753rd

Overeem vs. Volkov
Alistair Overeem, TKO, R3
great matchup, but i see reem being able to control the clinch much like kongo, tony johnson, and tim johnson all did. reem might even take him down and volkov has at times been too eager to play guard so we might see some of alistair's underrated ground game.

Sandhagen vs. Edgar
Cory Sandhagen, TKO, R2
thought pedro beat frankie personally so i think sandhagen's regained momentum could carry him to another breakout performance.

Johnson vs. Guida
Michael Johnson, DEC
i'm down with this matchup, clay is the type of name opponent that speaks to michael johnson's noteworthy rollercoaster career. i think mj can sprawl and brawl for one more win?

Pantoja vs. Kape
Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R2
a lot of hype he took from kai so i'm excited to see what kape can do against western competition, but the sasaki loss has me concerned that pantoja will have his way if it hits the ground.

Stamann vs. Askar
Askar Askar, DEC
i'm just gonna take askar for fun because up until today i thought askar askarov was coming up 20 pounds for this.

Ferreira vs. Dariush II
Diego Ferreira, DEC
awesome matchup, totally see why it's pickem odds. both on impressive streaks, no idea how it goes, i'll just take diego.

Rodriguez vs. Marques
Mike Rodriguez, TKO, R2
spotty opponents for marques so i'll say this looks like a rebound for slow.

Jaynes vs. Smith
Devonte Smith, TKO, R1
yeah i'm gonna take another consensus agreement pick here. jaynes has looked to fade after the first few minutes and smith clearly comes to finish the fight.

Rosa vs. Edwards
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
i'll just take a flyer on edwards. she figures to be rangier.

McCann vs. Procópio
Molly McCann, DEC
molly would seem to have more volume

Zalal vs. Choi
Youssef Zalal, SUB, R2
i keep picking zalal by submission, it's gonna work one day.

Valiev vs. Day
Timur Valiev, DEC
day is fightin for his spot but valiev is a tough out. thinking he's able to find his td's.

Osbourne vs. Rivera
Ode Osbourne, DEC
toss up for me, i'll go with ode because i like his name, it reminds me of garfield.

Speaking of underdog parlays, Overeem and Edgar together is +1000. Both could lose, but both also have reasonable paths to victory I think. Overeem especially IMO.

Justin Jaynes looks like he didn't even have time to train for this. Dude's normally ripped. I'm guessing he's the sole reason for the catchweight. I'd say lock of the night is Devonte Smith. He's a head taller, a better fighter anyway, and Jaynes got off the couch to take this fight.

Overeem vs. Volkov
Alexander Volkov, TKO, R3
Overeem has a chance of winning this.. by somehow grabbing or tripping Volkov (when they are clinching), taking him down and Ground & Pound. However, that is unlikely because Volkov has a good stand up game and maintains good distance. Overeem knows how to pace himself at this stage of his career as seen in his last two performances, but Volkov has nasty front kick to the body that might get Overeem in trouble. Also, Volkov throws rangy, accurate, combos.. and Overeem is known to cover up hoping his opponent will get tired but Volkov has excellent cardio. (Reem is still rooted in kickboxing where they have huge gloves to block shots. Some things can't be changed). Volkov by TKO against a covered up Overeem on the corner of a cage.

Sandhagen vs. Edgar
Frankie Edgar, DEC
Sandhagen is overhyped cos of his last KO against Moraes. Really. He is only 13-2 and ranks #3 when his most notable wins are Moraes, Assuncao, and a split decision over Lineker. He has great stand up skills but a fish out of the water on the mat. Edgar should easily be able to take him down and win on points if that's his game plan. A -400 favorite going against a tough veteran who is still in the game? Something seems off with the odds. Could be an Edgar vs Yair type of fight where the young gun gets schooled by the vet.

Pantoja vs. Kape
Alexandre Pantoja, SUB, R1
These two won't touch gloves for sure ! UFC trying to speed boost Kape's career by giving him a #6 ranked opponent in his debut. He might have been the rizin champ but the jump of directly getting a #6 ranked opponent seems bad for Kape especially when Pantoja has good ground game (although he likes to stand up in brawl). Pantoja should let kape swing and miss, time it perfectly, and take him down, and submit him or at least let the fight happen on the mat.

Ferreira vs. Dariush II
Beneil Dariush, TKO, R2
This is the fight of the night candidate for sure ! It's gonna be fireworks.

Rodriguez vs. Marques
Mike Rodriguez, TKO, R1
Marques shouldn't even be in the UFC. Rodriguez ain't Khadis... Rodriguez definitely would want to avenge his previous controversial loss. Rodriguez via Brutal 1st round KO

Jaynes vs. Smith
Devonte Smith, TKO, R1
Expecting VIOLENCE !

watched this man knock out Badr Hari in K-1 in 2008 at probably between 4-8AM high on cocaine (yeah baby, yeah! -JonJones)  when Dynamite use to exist. It's crazy to think about how long it's been. I may not watch the card, but let's go Reem.

Overeem vs. Volkov
Alistair Overeem, TKO, R3
Outstanding fight... One I wanted to see many, many years ago and were now getting it. These guys match up very well with each other. And I don't know which way it'll go, insanely good chance someone gets finished. Other than that, what the **** are the bookies smoking again. Holy ****.. Must be cookin up some of that Butta. Volkov at 2 to 1, c'mon maaaan....

Sandhagen vs. Edgar
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
Man... Even being a homer for Frankie Edgar, this is a tough matchup to even swallow. I don't like it... Frankie has to take him down...

Ferreira vs. Dariush II
Beneil Dariush, DEC
This card is ******* stupid... This is another outstanding matchup.. Like ******* gross how disgusting this matchup is. Benny has looked the best he has ever looked, and Diego... Man, if he can stay a little more active, and continue on the same trajectory, man... Lightweight is so stacked. I gotta take Benny on the near coin flip mainly outta being more active. We've seen what inactivity will do to ya over the past few weeks.

Jaynes vs. Smith
Devonte Smith, TKO, R1
In my head... This isn't close. This isn't even close, to being close... Bad matchup for Jaynes.

Sandhagen vs. Edgar
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
Sandman controls the range here and outscores Frankie, Marlon had a tough time closing that range and I see it being even tougher for Frankie, as long as Cory can defend the destined takedown he should get this win easily

Johnson vs. Guida
Michael Johnson, DEC
Just how I feel

Pantoja vs. Kape
Alexandre Pantoja, DEC
Kape fills out to be a good prospect but they threw him to a shark too soon
