Robertson vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, TKO, R2
Gillian is submission over position and I think Maverick is position over submission. Maverick is by far the better striker and Gillian doesn't do as well when her opponent is pushing the pace on her. Gillian might be jumping guard and trying to fish for longshot submissions and I don't think Maverick will fall into those traps, she seems like a pretty smart gal. I think Maverick's combinations are going to take a toll on Gillian, especially if she can't get her in a favorable position and eventually that volume will add up. I'll go doctor stoppage or ground and pound by Maverick. Gillian also doesn't wear damage very well with her light skin tone, she's going to look bloodied up.

Green vs. Rowe
Gabe Green, SUB, R1
No idea why so many people are high on Rowe when Gabe Green went to war with Dan Rodriguez and looked pretty good. I'm not concerned with the reach, one takedown and I think he can sub him or even knock him out. If Green hurts Rowe like Leon did, he won't let him off the hook.

Ewell vs. Gutierrez
Chris Gutierrez, DEC
Ewell always impresses me with his striking, but I can't trust the guy when he's in so many split decisions. I hope Ewell checks leg kicks (can't remember if he does, haven't watched tape), but that can potentially be another TKO for Gutierrez if he's tearing into the calves of Ewell.

Green vs. Rowe
Philip Rowe, DEC
Shiiiiiiit, I wish I really did have a read for this one, but I don't. Rowe is tempting though; Comes from a good camp, has size to help him out, and thrives in the spotlight. Let's see how this goes.

Simón by decision or submission. I don't see him getting choked out or knocked out, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. You know what I mean?

The time off makes me concerned here, but Marquez should have enough tools to beat Pitolo. Pitolo is pretty durable, so unless he gets subbed I see this going to decision.

Gastelum vs. Heinisch

I know Gastelum had that war with Israel, but beyond that I feel like he's a bit overrated. I think Heinisch's size and grinding style will be too much for Kelvin.

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 223rd

Usman vs. Burns
Kamaru Usman, DEC
Burns could win if he is aggressive and pressures forward, not mad rushing but in a calculated way. Usman gets uncomfortable when he gets pushed backwards. But I don't think that's possible as Usman will wrestle and clinch him up against the cage and make him work. Even if Burns gets taken down, Usman is aware enough not to get submitted and control the position. Only way I see burns winning is by rocking Usman, grabbing a hold and locking him up with a submission, which is a lot to ask. Besides, the level of competition burns has faced is questionable. He deserves the title but Welterweight is kinda shallow atm. Usman will win easily. 49-46. UD.

Barber vs. Grasso
Alexa Grasso, DEC
Barber is overrated. UFC trying to speed boost her career by giving her the co main spot in a Ppv. Barber is coming off of a sty knee injury. And she also gets hit a lot. Grasso is the far superior technical stand up fighter who is improving leaps and bounds in every fight. Barber will miss most of her wild shots while Grasso picks her apart beautifully. Huge step up in competition for Barber. Unanimous Decision for the veteran Grasso.

Gastelum vs. Heinisch
Kelvin Gastelum, TKO, R2
Step down in competition for Gastelum. He knows that he could be cut if he loses this fight. So, I'm backing Gastelum to give his all and get a KO in the 2nd round.

Marquez vs. Pitolo
Julian Marquez, DEC
Pitolo is durable but his defense is zero. Marquez is coming off of a long lay off but he should get the win here. Could see a 29-28 win for Marquez.

Simón vs. Kelleher
Ricky Simón, DEC
Simon is an excellent wrestler and good stand up too. He is chinny and Kelleher could get the KO if he lands clean. Also, if Simon goes for takedown, he gotta be aware of Kelleher's nasty guillotine choke. That said, expecting Simon to get a lot of top control and win a 30-27 UD.

Vieira vs. Hernandez
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Vieira needs no introduction if you're familiar with BJJ tournaments. He is an elite grappler who is also good in taking down down opponents. Judging by his physique, he looks so strong and in his prime. Damn his grappler forearms could crush a bone ! It'll be a quick submission for Vieira.

Lima vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, DEC
Lima is a scrub unlike his brother. Muhammad will mix it up with his wrestling. Lima has no answer when it hits the mat. 30-27 for Muhammad.

Gastelum vs. Heinisch
Ian Heinisch, DEC
Yeah, another tough one. Gonna give it to Ian. Kelvin could fall behind here, I don't know if he has it in him to rise again.

Marquez vs. Pitolo
Maki Pitolo, DEC
Yeah, this could be the first time we've seen a fighter come in here with the worst tear in the upper body ever. I expect a lackluster performance, and Maki to capitalize.

Usman vs. Burns
Kamaru Usman, DEC
This right here, is a rare matchup where even the fighters themselves may know just as much as we would going out to do research. Man. I like Usman. He has the path to really reach for greatness. But let's see if he can get through Burns.

Vieira vs. Hernandez
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R2
The bout was pushed back due to COVID, but the result still remains. Vieira is levels ahead Anthony in skill and physique. Brace yourselves. This will be quick.

Lima vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, DEC
I think I can remember the name well after this. Belal can cruise here. Still scratching my head over the inflated line though.

Viana vs. Martin
Mallory Martin, DEC
As long as Martin plays it safe, it's her's.

Usman vs. Burns
Gilbert Burns, SUB, R2
I can see burns gettin early sub..late stoppage due to strikes in 5th..or dec the decisionator.

Barber vs. Grasso
Maycee Barber, TKO, R2
Barber might just get full mount and assert dominance to just get the ref to step in. Nothing too damaging but enough to call off a woman's fight.

Gastelum vs. Heinisch
Ian Heinisch, TKO, R1
I'm siding with Hienisch. Not because Kelvin is on a skid or anything that discredits him. He's fought monsters and viciousy KO'd former champ Bisping. I just have a feeling he can win this fight.

Marquez vs. Pitolo
Maki Pitolo, TKO, R3
Coconut bombs will not get cracked and left leaking this fight.

Simón vs. Kelleher
Ricky Simón, SUB, R2
Both men have had extensive camps and preparing for this day. I like Simon more here. Reach/cardio/chain wrestling advantage. Could land a sub of his own if he finds himself in dominant position. I think his chin will hold up against Kelleher /or defend guillotine. Don't look into simon's KO loss to faber too much.

Vieira vs. Hernandez
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
As a bettor I want hernandez but my brain says veira sub.

Lima vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, DEC
Yeah.

Viana vs. Martin
Mallory Martin, TKO, R2
Let's go for the finish. I'm tired of women fights going the damn distance.

Ewell vs. Gutierrez
Andre Ewell, DEC
Ewell isn't on short notice. Has reach advantage. Been training for a fight already.

Green vs. Rowe
Gabe Green, TKO, R2
Don't look into the size differential too much on this one. I am betting on Green!

Robertson vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, TKO, R2
Gillian is going to need time off to focus on striking.

Wdym both men have had extensive camps,
Simon just fought and is taking this fight on 3 weeks notice
I think he gets it done but I wouldn't say from an extensive camp

Also Gastelum was the one that KO'd Bisping not Ian
