Moring @Xconchris, if it's still morning where you are, it's about 3:16pm here in Britain.

@duck a double eye poke KO would make me very happy. I didn’t remember that about Li but I believe it

Li tried his best to take Jake Matthews eyes home with him that night. Mark Simpson must have been looking to purchase one after the fight the way he let it happen.

Condit vs. Brown
Matt Brown, SUB, R2
A few years back and id laugh at a matt brown over condit. Right now, i think matt brown is going to have a back and fourth first round, second he lands something that rocks condit and grabs a choke.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 276th

Akhmedov vs. Breese
Tom Breese, DEC
This may be the hardest fight for me to call on this whole card. Breese has looked good but lost to Allen, and I think Akhmedov could follow the same blueprint and smash him on the floor. But I think Breese has grown into the 185 lb frame more since that fight, and will be able to hold his own enough to sway the judges

Ponzinibbio vs. Li
Jingliang Li, DEC
I understand why ponzinibbio is the pick for most people, but in good conscience I just can't because I hate him for eye gouging so much. Here is my reverse-engineered analysis of this fight based on the fact that I really want him to lose: If we see a flash of the early Li, where he earned his nickname by sticking to his opponents and roughing them up in the clinch, he could definitely win this. In all honesty, this fight is very close on paper and Li has the advantage in average striking numbers. Add in that Ponz hasn't fought for 2 years while Li has been consistent and I feel a little better about my vindictive pick of the week.

Buckley vs. Di Chirico
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
I hesitate to pick Buckley by KO, only because Di Chirico hasn't been knocked out before and fights very defensively. I can't think of anywhere the fight can go where Buckley isn't better in every way. All that being said, Di Chirico has a slightly higher average striking differential and when you combine it with the fight possibly going to (terrible) judges, Buckley could potentially get robbed here.

Condit vs. Brown
Carlos Condit, SUB, R2
No one is immortal

Tafa vs. Felipe
Carlos Felipe, DEC
Two meatballs enter, one leaves.

Moras vs. Melo
Sarah Moras, DEC
I hope the UFC cuts them both after this fight regardless of who wins, neither is UFC caliber and there are plenty of women who deserve their spots on the roster.

It was a good chance to see how Wu really stacked up considering her only UFC win was over someone who is now on a 3 fight skid. I'm really dubious about a lot of these fighters coming into the UFC off of wins over 0-0, 0-3, 0-0, 0-2 fighters. Seems like Dana is just trying to build up a Chinese market.

But I'm not salty about it getting cancelled since both of them are probably gonna be fighting super conservative to get a win and retain their contracts.

honestly I just didn't want the chance of seeing Bethe twerk again. Cancelling the fight really makes this impossible. in turn I'm fine with it.

My only complaint was i was fairly certain Wu was gonna beat Correia and end her UFC career, so that makes me sad the fight got cancelled. Correia being one of the most cringy fighters ever and taking shots of Rhonda's father suicide makes me pick against her every time. Nothing made me laugh harder then in Brazil shes waving the Brazilian flag and going crazy trying to pump up the crowd and everyone cheered for Rhonda and ignored her acting like a bafoon. The crowd recognized she was a crap person and reacted justifiably so.

nothing like waving Holly on for action then getting a foot upside your dome.

Vieira vs. Hernandez
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
Following the crowd on this one feels appropriate.

Akhmedov vs. Breese
Omari Akhmedov, SUB, R1
Terribly one sided by experience and knowledge. Breese hasnt had decent competition in literally years. Omari by rear naked.

One is a top contender in this weight class, the other is not. Calling this a round 2 TKO is respectful to Mazo.

Soriano vs. Todorović
Duško Todorović, TKO, R3
Dusko is better all around, especially when it comes to the gas tank. My only worry is the quick turnaround for Dusko after the Townsen fight in October. If Punahele gets gassed after the first round (he will), it will be a solid victory for Dusko. Round 3 ref stoppage.

@miami_EJ You really believe Buckley is a top contender at 85? 1 flashy kick, and a KO of The Ultimate Can Crusher Jordan Wright. everyone quickly forgets Holland steam rolling him. He was told to wipe his booger before being put to sleep.
