That is why they originally had 16.  I hope it keeps at this number.

They do this weekly putting a known name on the final fight of the prelims because its typically on ESPN2 before the main card is on ESPN+.  They think the known name will draw eyes to the ESPN2 broadcast and get them to move over to the main card after watching. Not sure if it actually works but they do it pretty often now.

Yeah I don't like that sure tony p is probably washed up certainly not the star he was for a short time.
But if its his last fight give him a good winnable one and why so low on the card.
I expect alex to safely out point the smaller dairy dependent man he should have stayed with the lilluns.

There is a method to the madness trust me. There is a reason Pettis is in the feature fight on the prelim card 3 days after the 10 year mark of "the Showtime Kick". which they have been spamming replays of on every social media platform all week. They know what they're doing.

Yea the UFC does the tactic with Anthony Pettis often. They can 1st give you a opponent thats guaranteed to kick your ass on the last fight of the contract like Paige van zant/amanda ribas. Hard to negotiate when you just been embarrassed and missing teeth. Or plan B is you give you a no name fighter and bury you on the undercard. They did this with Andre Arlovski\Jake O'brien a decade ago. That tactic was also revealed during the UFC's legal trouble with Joe Silva negotiating tactics. Basically fighting out your contract can mean getting your ass beat or feeding you a tough no name fighter and burying you on the bottom of the card, so you look just "meh" and people aren't excited about resigning you.

Sorry Anthony Pettis, 1 day the UFC loves you but when you want more money and get older, now the UFC will try anything to screw you over hardcore. Its just business

Benson got up instantly just a flashy face slap, social media is ruining everything and now its monopolized.

@josh there is a group of people out there who think that kick was set up on both sides to draw attention to the sport. Their argument is you can see Benson tap his foot on the cage before he starts to circle away to his right and after the foot tap (signal) he ran towards the cage to do it. the counter argument is, if it were set up to draw in fans wouldnt they have ended it with a KO? kinda dumb to set all that up for a decision.
